I suppose you have to admire AMC for having the audacity to name their muscle car "The Machine." Apparently a very nice car in its day, and colorful.

for fucks sake...... what is it with you people
amc
amx..... NOT MUSCLE CARS
neither are golf carts or vw bugs
I think I'll have to disagree with you on the AMX not being a muscle car. Sure, it's not an LS-6 Chevelle or a 426 Hemi Cuda but it could hold its own with the less exotic cars of the time.
amx and amc's are the special Olympians of SPORTS CARS
the definition of a muscle car is a full sized engine in a midsized body, ref the original muscle car the 64 gto and the last the 73 charger
a 68 440 6pack charger......... 67 gto........ 71 chevelle..... 71 hemi ANYTHING
contrary to popular belief the Shelby mustangs weren't muscle cars, or the vette they were sports cars
I like the Boss 302 and the Camaro convertible. But...I'll take this thanks. I <3 me some Rousch.

My father had a 68 firebird 400. I was only allowed to drive it on rare occassions. Putting the pedal to the floor was a life changing experienceHave you owned any, and which are your faves? I have always wanted a Boss Mustang but don't think I will ever be able to afford one.

As a kid, I love 77' Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition, the same car that was used in "Smokey the Bandit"
