When you have a younger brother...high-school teacher that has entered competitions and body built from 16. Entering Mr Natural Universe comps tell me what it does to your body. He still lifts, but ankles, wrists, knee...all joints, tendons are not able to compensate when you scale down muscle as you become older.

It becomes a pain game. But yes, you won't hear that in the mainstream. Sorry to bore you.

Big legs absolutely must be very hairy for me to find them sexy. Seeing a pair of very large thighs covered in thick hair in a pair of shorts - even if the guy is overweight - is extremely sexy. So virile. Better if the dude has really hairy arms, too.

I don't agree with you about the aesthetics of heavily muscled bodies, but I do agree about the wear and tear as someone who's now 50 and is in pretty much constant pain from all the heavy lifting as a young man. "Burn out; don't fade"....is likely the truth of choosing this lifestyle....and it's true you won't hear this in the mainstream.
