Loud music during sex is a cliche. The only noise I want to hear are those of myself and my bf. Maybe the crickets outside our window. Even worse is loud dance music that every gay guy plays over their xtube videos. Ughh. :(

I HATE music during sex. I don't want to hear anything but the woman. I have had sex with porn on in the background but that only helped us get in the mood more.

I can only do the music + sex thing in the context of a party or a lively evening. Outside of that I am not big on much more than the sounds of sex.

I think music that was already on before sex is ok, but its not like I start it specifically for sex, I will say that with one of my ex's I noticed a dramatic change in rhythm when we were having sex and I believe Dave Matthews was on, then the next track started and it was Nights in white Satin by the Moody Blues, instinctively the pace changed and we became much more passionate.

I agree if music or the TV is on prior to coitis then its ok but we don't turn on music specifically for sex. I also have a house full of kids, so music or the TV drowns the noise of us making babies out.

Huh. I'm pretty much the opposite of everyone else.

I love music during sex but 97% of the time I forget to play any because I get so focused on my partner that it slips my mind. The association between certain songs and certain sex memories between me and TheBF are so powerful that we were at a wedding reception when a certain song began playing and even though we were both involved in conversations with different people, we both turned our heads to one another and looked into one another's eyes and I knew that he was remembering the same thing I was. It was wonderful, that little moment of connection. I love knowing that songs I love also carry those memories for us.

I like music during sex. It's not important, but it can add atmosphere. Like sweet Petite, I get so caught-up in the moment - I don't think about it. I prefer something classical or 'deeper'. For example, I would have sex with Hotel California playing (that's actually very nice, for me), perhaps Ebeneezer Goode for more frantic-sex - but I'd have to be in the right mood for that; that really is as far as I'll go towards rap/dance music in the bedroom. I think music can provide rhythm for both partners. Choose an appropriate song and depending on your mood, it can really set the scene and kick-start wonderful sex.
