I have no collectable, only old beaters to travel and play gigs. If I take only one,it is Guild solidbody with Roland synth. Fakes a decent sound of guitars, banjo, mando, even organ, like Van Halen "Go Ahead and Jump." Drunk audience can't hear the difference.

I have a black and gold Cannonball alto sax, haven't played it in years though. I also have a 60th anniversary edition Fender American Deluxe Fat Strat, gives me orgasms when i play it. I also have a Fender Scorpion electro-acoustic that i guarentee only about 500 people on Earth possess, and then I have 2 more guitars that aren't worth mentioning.

Oh, and as soon as i get paid, I'm buying a banjo...YEEHAW

I am by no stretch of the imagination a musician, but I used to play tolerable Alto Sax.

I may still do, but I sold it a few years back - to buy a ticket to South America ... ho hum.

That is soooo cool. I wish I had one of those Roland guitar synths. My ex owns one. I played it once. It was very, very cool sounding. I had it MIDI-ed to his Korg KARMA keyboard. I was playing some really out there shite. Hehehe. Roland guitar synths are great. Everything Roland Corp. makes is amazing. Even the BOSS effects pedals.

Instruments* ;)

I play guitar, bass, drums, and I'm learning piano. But mostly guitar. I own the following:

-Taylor GS-RC acoustic guitar
-Fender American Strat
-Fender Mexican Strat
-Custom Warmoth Strat/Explorer hybrid
-Orange Rockerverb 50 amp head
-Marshall 1960a cab
-Effects pedals galore
-Fender Bassman 250 Combo
-Fender American Jazz Bass
-Gretsch Catalina Club 4 piece kit
-Paiste 2000 Ride, Paiste RUDE hats, Sabian AAX 16" Crash, Sabian AAX 18" Crash

Both of my fender guitars are mod'd. The American has an SD JB at the bridge and an SD 59 at the neck (my favorite pickup combo ever). The Mexican was stripped down, repainted, and equipped with SD lipstick tubes at the neck and middle and a Dimarzio PAF Classic at the bridge. The Warmoth has the EMG 81/85 setup. Here are some pictures of MOST of my stuff (the drum stuff and bass amp are fairly new and I haven't taken pictures of them yet):

It's never too late to start...it's not what you play, it's how ya play it that really matters

Well I had to pawn my guitar to pay a few bills so it's on hold, I know a few chords and could play "me and bobby mcgee" and "good riddance" and a few blues riffs. It was fun and I miss my guitar sorely:frown1:. My voice is my main instrument though so I guess there's a plus side, I can't ever pawn that!

That sucks. I don't think I could ever pawn a guitar, I'd rather get evicted lol

Love it. The Phase 90 is excellent for a great sounding simple phaser, but using the Boss in conjunction with the MXR opens up limitless possibilities. I use these two pedals (as well as my Boss Delay) more than the others.

Nice. Thanks.

I have two electric guitars and a bass guitar. I have a bunch of Zoom effects processors and a Dunlop Crybaby Wah-wah Pedal. So, I may not have a Roland guitar synth but my effects processors will bring me closer towards some otherworldly sounds.

Dunlop Crybaby Wah-wah Pedal.

That's a badass pedal. I have the 535Q and LOVE it. I really want the hendrix pedal though, it sounds incredibly sick

Voodoolab Microvibe is also an astonshingly awesome pedal. Almost a replica of the vintage univibes

I remember when they sold those Silvertone's at Sears. Nice. :biggrin1:

It was my dad's. Then, it was my brother's. (He fuckt the electronics on it.). I got it.

My ex fixed it up and resoldered the electronics. And put some D'Addario Electric (guitar strings) 10s on it. And I am ready to play funk rhythm guitar. Hehehe. :biggrin1:

I have used a sunburst les paul for years. In my last band I used an Orange 100watt head and a marshall 4x12 cabinet. It is hands down the best tone of any amp you could ever have. I used no pedals to later the tone, other than your basic delay and a crybaby wah for certain songs, no extra distortion or anything like that.
An orange 30watt will blow the doors of a marshall 50 watt. This is coming from a former marshall only guy.
If you still dont believe me scroll down on the link below and see what artists use orange.
I have a ampeg combo amp just for songwriting and messing around as well.

If it were me I would have but I had a significant other to think of. Are gay men allergic to guitars? This thread is straighter than a, uhh, I got nothin', it's straighter than something that's really really straight.
