qmquit1980 has an AWESOME Nu-Metal band from Sicily, PM him and he'll give you the link to their excellent website, DJG is in some kind of killer band, he has pics of them in his gallery, Mephistopholes plays guitar and sings in a band (he hasn't been on here lately), I play all of the rock instruments, write songs, sing, and am a bit of a sound designer in the style of Brian Eno, Quercusone plays guitar, Tallguypns plays the trumpet, and Invisibleman plays guitar too... that's just off of the top of my head!

I am positive that there are many "skin flutists" and those who play the "meat whistle", but there are very few "trouser trumpet" or "sausage bassoon" players on the site though! lol!!! :biggrin1:

I play piano, basically ... but also recorder, trombone and tuba.
(Hmmm. For tripod in particular ... the skin bassoon, too.)

Yes, all the wind instruments, piano, and a working knowledge of orchestral strings and percussion.

Gotta love the great pipe organ. Nothing like high church music on a great cathedral pipe organ. [St Pauls Cathedral, etc.]

Have been to many a concert at First Congregational Church of Los Angeles to hear the new organs there. The church is way too small for that organ. Should be in St. Pauls, London.

Hahah, quercus, that is a little more complex. The bocal, whisper key, flick keys, long joint and butt joint complicate matters on the skin bassoon! With the skin flute, you only have to worry about the head joint, the body, and the foot joint!

Yeah. I am a composer/songwriter. I play guitar, keyboards, and drums.

My influences are Prince (early up to 1992), Full Intention (dance remix producers--Michael Gray and Jon Pearn), Asche and Spencer (commercial music production), John Keane (CSI Music Score Composer). and Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins).

I love the dance stuff. the funky stuff, and the ambient music score that are emotive. This is the sounds I like. I like instrumental music better than the ones with lyrics. Instrumentals lend to individual interpretations. Whereas songs with spoken and/or sung lyrics confines you to what is revealed lyrically.
