Mustard Everywhere.

I go to Krystal today, (bad imitation of White Castle) it is more expensive too. Their sliders have mustard and no ketchup. BK and McD also put mustard on their burgers here in south Florida. In Northeast NJ only checkers puts mustard on their burgers.

Even McD breaks their own specs and does not put mustard on their burgers in NJ. Mustard is okay, but sometime s they add too much here. Why would they put mustard and no ketchup on any burger? That Okay for hot dogs.

I warned you about the culture shock. It's only going to get more bizarre. Florida is a world unto itself. Easily the most bizarre state in the union.

And Micky Ds used to put mustard on their hamburgers here but with ketchup too. Not sure why or when they stopped but I liked it.

I no longer live in a Krystal area....in NYC there are
only White Castles.

My favorite would have to be Krystal, since I grew
up with them and they are to me..."comfort food."
Where I came from in the South, Krystal put a squirt
of both ketchup and mustard, some steamed onions
and a dill pickle slice on each Krystal Burger. I know
that because if flipped Krystal Burgers as a kid.

I don't know why they put mustard only on the ones
in Florida.

Krystals are the only ones on which I like mustard.
When I cook hamburgers, or get them in a restaurant,
I do not use or ask for mustard...only ketchup, onions
and relish. I put mustard only on Hot Dogs (along with
some onions, sauerkraut...maybe).

Why?

The next time you go to Krystal, ask them to dress it
like you want it....or order a plain one and use one of
the ketchup packs at the service area.

No Mcd puts mustard and ketchup on their hamburgers. They allways did.

i've been to krystal burger once (i'm from the midwest but moved to the south a few years ago). i ordered chili dogs and it had mustard in it! i was so fucking mad! who the fuck puts mustard on their chili dog? so i had to go back and say that i didn't want mustard on it.

i haaate mustard! the smell, the color. just looking at mustard makes me gag, esp if i see someone using lots of it and it gets on their fingers and they just lick it off.

i like their corndogs though. their burgers aren't that great. i was disappointed.

Oh, me too!
The Krystal was were all of us in High School went with our girls
after a movie or a football game. A half a dozen Krystals, some
fries, a chocolate malted shake and a piece of pie (lemon icebox).
Ummmmm!! yum:
Then out to somewhere in the country or down by the river to
make out.....

Nothing better than makin' out with onions and mustard on the
breath....:biggrin:

Damn, this thread is really briinging back memories and making me
