I keep seeing this question coming up but has anyone ever had their penis measured by their doctor? (excluding those people in relationships with their doctor!) I've been in medicine for nearly 20 years and the only time I've known that to happen is when a guy sees a urologist to discuss specific problems resulting from his penis size, either perceiving himself as being too big or too small. I've never known a doctor to measure a guys penis merely to check the size.

I'm 5'9" tall, pretty average from what I understand. If I had a penis that big it would reach roughly halfway down my shin, leaving 7-8" ground clearance. A real "low rider," so to speak.
Bignlong, you have a mighty impressive penis no doubtedly, but unless you're over 8 feet tall I'm gonna say you're closer to the 9 - 10.5" range, based on pictures on your blog where it clearly shows your member barely reaching halfway down your thigh (hard to say for sure due to camera angle tricks, hence the 1.5" variance I'm estimating), not halfway down your shin. Overall, you're probably bigger than 99% of guys, so why fib?

50 cm would be 19.7". Impossible, but very impressive anyway.
50 cm would actually be a handicap. How could it be comfortably positioned when dressed? How would it be possible to wear a bathing suit? When sitting on the toilet, even when soft it would hang into the water. Getting it in and out when standing at a urinal would be impossible. Getting an erection would take a LOT of blood.
What penis size would be ideal? Perhaps 8" long by 6" around? I have 7" x 5.5" and I wouldn't want it to be more than 8".

Agree. There is no medical reason to measure a penis with the possible exception of that you mention. Even then, most of us refer patients to the actual data about penis size distribution. It's really amazing in the age of the internet that many young men think that the average penis length is 8 inches. Maybe too much porn.
Never mind, cannot be too much porn. Just misinformation and male insecurity.

In somewhat earlier times, boys saw each other nude in physical education classes so they never developed the idea that the average penis size was 8". Instead, they had a more accurate idea about what the normal range of sizes was.
