I am really discouraged. I think my dick is broken. I never had a problem maintaining an erection, but now it seems to be a problem. It was just found that I have diabetes. I have a really mild case as I do not take insulin and my readings are usually around 120 in the mornings and it drops during the day. My wife and I have one of these damn memory foam beds that we sink into and it is hard to move around in. She is unable to get into different positions. I can get into some, but usually by the time I get ready to penetrate I loose my erection. I try to encourage her to go down on me, but she isn't crazy about it. I don't have a problem go down on her. Life is getting very discouraging. I have a heart condition, but I do not take nitrates. Any suggestions?

Yeah i second the idea of talking to your doctor about your issue. Don't get too downhearted however, many men go through the same thing. :)

Yes

First off, if your wife needs memory foam then there is no reason she can't have it. Put a memory foam mattress or topper on HER side only! No reason you should have to live with sleep and sexual issues. This sounds simple and there are plenty of reasons to say it's not the worth the money and the effort, but it really really is. Dig into savings, Christmas fund, whatever. Bite the bullet and get a split bed. You will sleep better and you'll feel better during sex. Do not overlook how seemingly simple this is.

Diabetes frequently has a direct effect on your erectile function but if your case is very mild then I suggest looking at Viagra and Cialis. The best bet is to lose weight and change your diet, but in the mean time, the little blue pills can help you out.

Out of both of these, obviously your health is the most important. I suggest, however, that your sleeping situation is singularly unsatisfactory for you. A good night's sleep is important and so is sex. Crack the piggy bank and do the split bed thing. Please!

It seems that you don't have problem getting blood there initially, you just have a problem keeping it there. Just a suggestion, but maybe a cock ring would help? A properly fitting ring will let blood in and keep it there.

TALK TO A DR. Welcome to the site btw. Also, how old are you? How tall are you? What is your weight? You left so many things out on your post, which once again tells me you need to be having this discussion with your Doctor and/or psychologist (in case your erection issues are psychological). Best of luck to you though! Cheers

I am 6'0" tall, weigh 280 and do not take any medicine for the diabetes. The cock ring didn't help. I am 59 years old.

Maybe its time to lose some weight, which in the end will not only make your penis live longer, by your entire self.
