HUMONGOUS: Monstro,
I see from reading all of your posts that you have learned your lesson the hard way. This is oftentimes true of people who overstep their boundaries. It seems that you were overzealous to delete my posts ;D ;D ;D ;D.

next time --consult prior to, not afterwards ::)

Speaking of overstepping your boundaries, why not have a tall cool glass of shut-the-fuck-up?

You've already slammed Maximillian and Sammy once -- and while it's poor taste to dance on the graves of the departed, I shrugged, because -- hell, I can't expect everyone around here to have good taste. (He called you an 'annoying little puppy', it's only fair you get to call him a 'conjoined twin'.) But you cut and reposted the same message verbatim over here. Don't you know any other dances?

So, now you've slammed Monstro for doing his job to the best of his ability.

You're certainly not the innocent in all this, and the attitude you've displayed in the last few posts doesn't make anyone's job any more pleasant.

HUMONGOUS: i want to thank you all for the attention you have given me over the last few days. i have always thrived on attention, but i could never have imagined all of this in my wildest dreams. i enjoy being a polarizing figure, a lightning rod, and the members of this group have helped me achieve this staus at lpsg. i am without a doubt one of the most infamously known members and yet i have been on board for less than a month. just the mere mention of my name strikes up a conversation. you have no idea what you are doing to improve my grades in grad school and help me to pass this class assignment. you have allowed me to be in control, and i have taken the reigns.
over the next few days i plan to post more stories so if there are any requests please let me know i do so badly want to post a story detailing my experiences with necrophilia

Inwood: I've been thinking about what some of you have posted about feeling that there is illegal material on lpsg and that because of that you could not remain a part of the group. I initially felt that you were correct in sticking with your ethics and leaving.

But it seems to me that if you really felt that something illegal was going on in lpsg you had a responsibility to report it to the authorities. By just walking away you didn't do anything to correct what you perceive to be a crime. For all intents by not doing something to stop this you were as guilty as the person you said was breaking the law. Would you have walked away if you had actually seen the person doing to a child what they wrote about?

Obviously Mark has a lawyer and is willing to defend what he perceives to be an issue of freedom of speech. The people who remain are by now aware of the possibilities you raised about investigative authorities. What can happen? Well nothing for one thing. If they were going after something they would probably go after Nifty, which carries every type of story except maybe necrophilia. What's the worst (depending on which end you're looking from) that can happen? Mark gets shut down and he and the poster arrested and thrown in jail. The rest of us to varying degrees embarrassed or harassed.

That's not your problem. If you feel people are breaking laws then it's those peoples fault for breaking the law.

But you aren't standing up for anything by walking away. You're just doing a Pontius Pilate.

Suely the law wouldn't have been broken, however, until such a story is posted? Opening a bar saying that you will allow underage drinking will not be illegal until the first underage drinker buys a drink.

I believe the issue with most people is standing up for what they believe is morally wrong.

Give me a fucking break... it is not "he who laughs last laughs longest" Everyone needs to take a "chill pill" and RELAX! Some of you here are like little kids, not adults as you claim to be (and you know who you are)
"can't we just all get along?"
