I'd go with a very small move, like next time he's "flaunting" look at him, let your gaze drop to his cock briefly, and then look him in the face again and see how he reacts. If he smiles or winks, that would be a clear green light. If you don't get a reaction or he scowls a bit, then you can back off with no harm done.

You’re right, it does sound like a porn... however I do think this scenario is true, (Lets say I know what you mean, not the same case thou) I’d think is up to you to go further than an innocen foreplay, everyone likes to get noticed, but consider your friends relationship of goes beyond that and their consecuences of any result of it: if stepdad goes on - will your friend be cool with it?
