I'm still a virgin so I obviously havent had any kinda reaction like this but form what I've read on this site it seems a lotta people get this reaction although it tends to be 8 inch guys being called 12 inches and stuff.
Out of curiosity, how thick are you? You look about 5 to 5.5 inches thick.
Also in case you don't know the average length is about 5-5.5 and the average girth is about 4-4.5. There are some quite good threads on here about it with stats and everything.

She was always making comments on my size so I asked her how big she thought it was, she said 8 inches. When she asked me if I've ever measured it I said no, haha. This was very early on in the relationship and I was kind of hoping she would spread the word among her girlfriends, but now we're a year in and none of that matters. If she ever asked again now I'd just tell her the truth... maybe

A friend & his GF (at the time) were fucking, and she later came out of the bedroom, and said "I just measured ___ and he was like 9in. long...I couldn't believe it, I was way off what I guessed. So you must be around the same size... and yours is thicker from what I remember." We had a 3some with her, and were pretty close, which is how she knew my size.

You have a small frame so your 6.75 it's actually reapply big for your overall size. I'm 7 inches but you look much bigger than me, because I'm a big guy. Your thick, you should proud.
Same here... 6.75 but 5.5 around at center & 6 around at the base. never thought it was all that big due to porn impressions but found out it seems to be way above a lot of guys out there. Again, if you have the length (even avg) but have the girth, they are usually impressed.

It's amazing how little people can conceive penis size, stemming mainly from the amount that men lie about their penis size. When a person comes across a genuinely large penis, they flip out and declare it a "MASSIVE 12 INCH MONSTURRR".

This sort of happened to me recently. I hooked up again with the girl to whom I lost my virginity almost 15 years ago. I always considered myself on the small side of average, but she told me that she always remembered my size and that I'm one of the largest that she's been with in her life. I was shocked and still have a hard time believing it.

Yeah dude, I know exactly what you're talking about. It's not just girls that seem to be confused about size, but dudes too. I am very close to your size at 6.5x5.5, and I've fooled around with a lot of guys. The vast majority of those who told me their size ahead of time were supposedly about an inch longer than me, while the vast majority of them turned out in person to be an inch smaller. Yeah, I've seen one or two monsters, but I'm usually longer than the other guy, and almost always thicker. Yet somehow people seem to think 6.5 is average/small. What gives??? At least I can start feeling better about my size since I always thought I was small, especially for my height (6'5").

I'd be put off if my boyfriend ask about my boob size so I would never ask for a specific measurement of his cock. I know it's big and checked it out against my forearm (holy fuck!) in a clandestine manner but to pull out a ruler is just something I'd never do. I may be off on this, but I've noticed the public's reaction to celebrity penises may hold some clues. It seems like they go apeshit whenever someone famous is even in the "above average" class, and proceed to come up with all these ridiculous estimations for the person's size (usually well over 8"). Strange part is, they don't seem to hold porn people to this same scale, or maybe they realize it's fantasy, so they expect fantasy size penises from all the porn guys. The other explanation is just that with the hero worship they already have going for these famous people, they exaggerate the penises in their heads, but I think it's more a matter of how they stack up against "real world penises" which are probably way smaller than most of us porn heads are guessing. :biggrin1:
