My hairs growing back as two

I haven't shaved my pubic area in a little while and i noticed that many of the hairs were growing out as doubles from the same follicle. I have areas on my legs, particularly over my quads that do the same thing. What is up with this? I am going to shave them off again but is there any solution to this to make them just 1 hair again?

Hmm you sure they were single hair follicles before? I have never seen this before least on me and didn't think it happened often. Be interested in knowing what causes it.

They originally had two hairs, you just never noticed it.

princess is right most of the time you have two hairs growing out but they grow out as one but if you look closely you'll see two hairs not one and when you cut it it seperates
