I don't see a problem with a member asking us here at the LPSG how to handle a situation such as this. However, the LARGE PENIS SUPPORT GROUP is NOT designed to be an educational resource for teens. There are far superior places to get the proper information. Opening up this site for a minor to read is not appropriate and may be illegal in your area.
I don't agree with the poster who says let Mom and Dad handle it. Many teens would much rather talk to an older brother, cousin, uncle, and even grandfather than talk to DAD.
Many churches publish good resources for sex education that give the necessary information without coming here.
This is a website that is approved by some educational groups for teens to get correct information and in an appropriate setting: teenwire.com.
There is nothing wrong with letting boys know the average length of adult penises. Teen guys today check "yes" that they are 18 and see the porn sites and really believe that all adult men have ten inch dicks and that their 6.5 inch dick is small. Reality is the average is 5.1 to 5.5 depending on the survey you read. There are many three inch ones that bring down the average. Girls and their moms talk about the cup sizes they need. No one questions that.
The idea that a 14 year old talks with an older male cousin about dick sizes isn't something horrible, but normal.
Fourteen year old boys reading what adults think about their penis though is unacceptable.
This is considered by the federal government a porn site. As such it is for adults age 18 and over. Consider this sentence in an artical in the paper. "Fourteen year old boy is caught reading a thread on the LARGE PENIS SUPPORT GROUP to read what adult men on that site think about his penis."
Do you really want to go there? Or would you rather show him or give him materials that teachers use, churches use or people like Planned Parenthood design for teens to use to learn about their developing bodies?
Notice I didn't answer the question. Instead I gave suggestions for the proper materials to use. I taught sex ed in both church and public school for years. I never had a problem with a parent. I never refused to answer a question. If the teen asks the question, he deserves an answer, but in an appropriate way. Not at an adult porn site.
Depending where you live, just opening up this website and letting him or any other minor read could be against the law in your area. For all readers: This is a world wide web site so the laws where you live will vary from place to place.
