So, I've been considering it for a good long while and I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a piercing soon, a prince albert more specifically.

I'm going to get it regardless, but before I do, I'd like to ask a few questions:

First, how intense is the pain of the initial piercing? How long does the pain, if any persist?

Secondly, will it effect my stream - either of urine or ejaculate?

Thirdly, should I get the piercing done when hard or soft?

I appreciate whatever advice you all give!

First of all it hurts like a bitch! Only for a few minutes though.
Make sure that your piercer puts the PA in deep enough if your planning to go to a bigger gauge.
My husband Mr. Ed had his PA started as a ten gauge and we were able to have sex two days later but most will tell you that isn't a great idea. It worked for us though since we just couldn't wait until his PA and my three rung clit ladder healed.
Do use lots of A & D and clean it several times a day with
Carraklenz or H20. Sea salt in water will also do the job nicely. The piercing even a curved barbell will usually split the urine stream and frequently make a mess!
Ripping out isn't common IMO. But.........
Mr Ed's was unusual as the piercer didn't put it in deep enough into the head of his penis consequently
when he went up to a 0 gauge from a 2 gauge it ripped out in my hand as I was putting it in.
Be careful that it is an experienced piercer and make sure
they know you'll want to go up in size.

I have a pa and have to agree with cigarbabe...

I tend to sit when I have to pee but what the heck, takes a load off the feet.

Cleaning, keep it clean and you should not have any problems with infections.

The piercing will be done when you are flaccid.
