Ok, my roomate, and my best friend from the Navy, has been going out with this girl for about 6 months or so. She has totally tried to change him and because of her, he's going to move up to Colorado to go to a different acupuncture school and I'll never see him again. They "broke up" once before and literally the next day were back together.

But last night the broke up for good, according to my roommate. He lent her his laptop to use since her computer was in the shop for repairs. He gets a text message last night saying "I just found child pornography on your computer. I thought I knew who you were. I feel sick."

First, what was she doing snooping around in his porn? She says something like "I wanted to get to know you better and see pictures of you and your family." His pictures of his family and porn are in two totally different places on his computer! She had to do some real hunting to find his porn. Then she deleted to so-called "child" porn from his computer thus eliminating any leverage he might have to defend himself.

I know my roommate much better than his girlfriend, and I know he doesn't have any kiddie porn on his laptop. Or at least not without his knowledge. He has gotten a few CDs from his brother with a bunch of porn on them and maybe, just maybe, one slipped in. She says that in the picture the girl looks 15. There are plenty of porn stars who are 18 and older that look 14 or 15. It's their niche! That's why there are in porn! And since she deleted the picture and emptied the recycle bin, I can't show you guys the pic.

What the fuck?

Just because the picture has been deleted it isnt gone for good. There are plenty of data recovery applications out there that will be able to help.

Your friend should take a bit more care with what porn he keeps on his laptop, because lets say his (now) ex girlfriend went to the police the excuse that "one may have slipped in" wouldn't fly.

If they are broken up he doesnt have to prove anything to her. Also even if you do find the pic its probably adviseable that you dont post it on here.

Yes! Every time they fight, she always starts it.

And I DON'T WANT ANY, but how hard is it to get kiddie porn? I mean if you do a search for it the only thing that comes up is how bad it is and that you'll get arrested for it. It makes it even more unlikely that he had child porn.

She has trust issues that need to be dealt with.....it's like going through his wallet looking for phone #'s....it seems she's looking for a reason to point a finger at his "wrong doing"...

Well last night she asked him to meet her at a bar at 10pm. I said, "No, dude, fuck her!" But of course he went anyway. I was really sick yesterday and went to bed early but I did hear BOTH of them come in around 1 am. And now this morning she's still here! The same thing happen the last time they had a huge fight and "broke up." Personally, I'd break up with her because I wouldn't want to put up with this every few months,

Some people are just meant for each other. Sounds like your roommate and his girlfriend are two of those people. She treats him like that and he goes back to her, so they both must be getting something out of it.
