I know two female vegetarians who turned carnivore. They both say that eating meat makes them feel better.

I don't believe humans are exclusively herbivor that wasn't the point.

I also know of ppl with serious health problems that cut red meat out of their diet and noticed a real improvement.

Not all meat is the same, difference in texture etc.Fish is also meat but clearly better for you

I agree on the fish thing, but you still have to be careful with fish. Depending on where and how it was raised, you run a mercury risk with fish.

No food is fool proof.

And thus far the only country I can recall hearing about eating dog meat was Korea I think, but not 100% sure.

Dog is eaten throughout various parts of Asia. Even Hawaiians ate dog.

And we'll leave the blood sausages over there in the UK and Germany where they belong thankyouverymuch.

Black pudding rules! The animal has to be treated very well to produce a healthy and safe product, far better than many pets are, that's for sure.

We're pretty decent as omnivores, but a jack of all trades, rather than getting the true benefits of eating such a wide range of food. Fibre for many animals is more than just helping you to shit! We can't meatbolise fibre properly, nor can we do many tough starchy foods..or grass etc, while on the carniverous side, we tend to bias towards the "storage" rather than the metabolism of high protein/fat products.

Balanced diets for the win?
