I still dont think 'popping' or ven draining it yourself with hot/cold water baths will do you any good. It's not your avarage cyst; its mostly caused by so sort of peranent blockage of the glands, which will be needing to be eather sugically removed or treated by laser.

In other words; don't risk infection, and it will come back.

It might not be a cyst at all. Have a go yourself I say. If you said you have had something similar in the past, what happened? Did they go away?

If you get rid of the muck inside it and it gets worse, then go see a doctor.

Seriously, if you suspect a serious problem go to a doctor...As in the AMA: a real doctor. It doesn't matter what it costs. I was just reading how our health coverage is ranked 35th in the world, behind Cost Rica! With any luck people will wise up and listen to the President and what he's trying to do. With my job I have full health care coverage, so it really doesn't effect me, but I think its sad and pathetic that some women in this country can't get proper medical care. Fuck! i'll pay a couple extra bucks if it helps some people get the medicine that they need. It's fucked up in this country now but hang in there, and see a doctor when you need to! your health of body and/or mind is your most important asset. With any luck things will change (they will, trust me its inevitable)

If you only have 13 bucks then you should qualify for Medicaid and even food stamps. With Medicaid you can be seen by a doctor who accepts it and every hospital has to treat you. I would not do any do it at home type of surgeries.

Rommette, you obviously have a short memory.

http://www.lpsg.org/94059-sex-for-money.html

See the above thread you started regarding letting a man you don't even know cum inside you for 700 dollars.
that's not impregnating.
she was on birth control, so impregnation was never in question.

and she didn't do it.

if she has 600 worth of debt and nothing in her wallet, i can well understand the temptation. she thought about it, she talked about it, she realised it wasn't worth it and she moved on.

i don't see the big deal.

And did u read what I said in the first post of the thread. If not I feel inclined to refresh your memory. I said "HE KNOW'S IM ON BIRTH CONTROL!"

Well, I was on medicaid.....until last month when I turned 21. Medicaid and medicare is only for people between the ages of 0-21 and 65+. I guess fuck the middle.

I have been watching this thread and unable to post (damn sidekick). You baiscally said what I wanted to say but I was gonna have sex for money to pay for my books for school. I didn't do it and had to take out a loan instead.

Now, an update on the cyst. Like I said it poped. They always do. The problem is I can bareely fucking walk until it pops. Or sit for that matter. I found myself most of the time laying in bed on my stomach. Those things are aweful. Some brownish and yellow liquid came out of it. I thought it was gross but I was so relieved that I could finally sit and walk that I really didn't care. In Maryland they're leaning towards all colleges having health plans. That sounds good and all until you realize that with the health plans you must pay the first $150 to see a physician....$200 for a specialist and the first $500 for the emergency room. Then when you realize your primary care doctor only charged $163 of which you paid $150 you feel like an ass. I'm not sure what makes insurance companies think that college students have money like that. Many college students can't afford to go to the doctor's office on a sliding fee scale so what makes them think we can pay so much out of pocket for healthcare. College students are "supposed" to study every 3 hours for every 1 credit they take. So if a student is taking 15 credits they are supposed to study a 45 additional hours. 15 credit hours + 45 study/assignment time = 60 hours a week spent on school. Now I I won't lie. I dont. I study about every hr per credit which means I study 15 hours+ and 15 credits=30 hours a week. I'm not sure how I am supposed to hold down a full time job with benefits outside of spending 30 hrs a week doing school related activities. I just thought i'd give some insite on my background. Even my school's on campus health center charges for everything. For Christ sake...the charge 25 bucks for an HIV test! Perhaps this is the reason so many people don't know their std status. I'd taken this post in a whole different direction. In the end, I'm glad my sis is gone

I took 18 credits every semester. It is hard. Especially when I lived on campus, and it was a noisy ass dorm. :frown1: I get post trauma thinking about what I went through in school.

I am glad that the cyst problem had taken care of itself. I feel for you. I hope that things are well with you.

My wife and I both work in a hospital. We agree. You need professional medical treatment. Someplace where you live is a std clinic. Even though you do not have std's I would start there in that they are FREE. Once they see this they will know exactly who you need to see at FREE cost. Trust me... there is treatment out there but you really have to seek it out. And tell them your financial situation. This can be taken care of. Oh, and do tell them your history and tell them what you found in your research.

Rommette, I often ponder/answer this question to countless posters who have various medical problems the same way, and all those times, it's still relevant as well as consistant; Why, have you not gone to your doctor 1st, then talk to us? Now look, if you haven't already, get up, go find the yellow pages, pick out a doc, make the appointment, and move before things start falling off for chrissake.:irked::kiss: Oh, btw, I hope you find out what it is.
