Thanks for all the responses so far. Yea, they may be a little too short to wear in public, but that's ok, I still like em.

I have several pairs of cutoff jeans that I wear at the beach. They are as short as that. Probably not a big deal because it's the beach, but I have walked to nearby stores with them. The more I walk, the more confident I get in them. I generally bring some beach object (e.g., towel) so it looks like I am at the beach. I would not feel comfortable just getting out of my car and walking into Macys.

I generally pull them down to cover my buttocks, and then they are low on my waist with my navel showing. I wear a midriff. often something bright like yellow.

I sort of am discreet, but my goal is to attract the attention of a guy. Have gotten a couple of smiles, but that is it. Guess I need to up it a little!
