Only thing to add: The chosen guy was abled to let his balls jump without his hands touching. Just with his muscles (I guess). I think that's hilarious! I would like to get to know him just because of that. I could watch that for hours... and then blow him XD

All in all (as this was the last episode for now), I'm quite pleased with the show. I am only a little disappointed that there were no homosexual parts. Germany always says they are so open about homosexuality but in situations like these you see it's still a long way to go until homosexuality is treated just as regularly as heterosexuality in public and on TV.
There was this one woman who is pansexual, okay. But I personally believe that was rather to show people out there that this exists not to be very diverse.
Let's all hope for a season two (in Britain as well as in Germany) or for other countries' seasons one.

You can't just generalise from what you see on TV. Those were 28 German people (from more than 80 million).
There are people in Germany who shave, there are some who trim, and then there are some who don't do anything at all.
But I guess you're right with the "only those appearing on National TV" part. I think it's a requirement from the makers. Usually all the people appearing in such naked dating shows, like this or Adam and Eve, are shaved.

Actually I think Germany, rightly or wrongly, have a reputation for letting their pubes grow naturally. If I was asked to shave my pubes off by producers, I wouldn't appear. Not that I would want to go on one of these shows.

Most straight men in Germany think that everyone expects them to be shaven, so that's what they do at least if they care what others think.

That's what I thought. Its probably either a requirement or highly suggested by the programmer. BUT Cekay82's response was interesting as well, that there is a certain expectation of straight men to be shaved. I think its fascinating!
