Not that I know of. It’s not really the place for that. I have seen some semi’s and a boner here and there but no real action. If there’s any action at all I would suspect the steam room or one of the quiet saunas in the back.

Yes, definitely go. So much better experience and younger crowd than Sauna Deco, I promise. Go for a full day including evening if you can. Also try to catch one of the sauna rituals, they’re very relaxing. Sauna Deco mostly cool for the art deco interior.

It’s a sauna session where one of the employees increases the humidity and thus heat in the larger sauna cabins by putting scents, ice and water on hot stones. They then take a towel and wave it around like below or similar:

Spa Zuiver has maybe 6 different sauna rituals throughout the day. They’re free to attend and you will find a schedule once inside. Very relaxing.

I go to the area several times a year for long weekends to relax naked in the saunas.

Those listed below are not male-only / gay-only spaces but nudity is expected/demanded as in all the saunas I have visited in Germany.

Discretion is needed but there are usually gay guys looking to make new friends.

Baden-Baden

Friedrichsbad - Amazing cathedral-like structure with compulsory nudity (as in no towels) in some spaces. Next door is Caracalla Therme a modern sauna/wellness facility where nudity is required in the sauna area.
Discount on parking with therma ticket.

Karlsruhe

Vierordtbad - Beuatifully restored municipal pool and sauna. The swimming pool is textile optional. Walking distance from the main station. Also Europabad a modern therme is not far away.

Mannheim

Herschelbad - is CLOSED now for restoration: Old school municipal swimming pool with sauna including an amazingly hot plunge pool, steam bath, and sauna.

Sinsheim (about 40km from Heidelberg)

Sinsheim Therme - Luxury complex with a huge greenhouse full of palms with pools surrounded by thousands of orchids. Best to go on special evenings when the whole complex is naked. Big aviation museum nearby if you like that sort of thing.

Weinheim

This is my favorite anywhere: Miramar, Wienheim. Every Tuesday evening, public holidays and a scheduled Saturday each month they have a Sauna Night (see events page) where the whole complex is naked after 20:00 - that includes a wave pool, outdoor warm saltwater pools and some spectacular slides. It's a great place even when it's not all FKK (nudist) as there are many saunas, steam bath, a warm outside pool, a hammam, and a large park with a lake for swimming.

Wiesbaden

Kaiser-Friedrich Therme right in the centre of town you can drop in for a couple of hours. Beautifully restored with a cool swimming pool, saunas, steam bath and hot pools.

Wildbad - about 30 mins drive from Baden Baden

Palais Thermal A restored gem originally built in 1847 with a hyper-modern spa on the roof looking out at the mountains. Special and worth a visit.

I particularly like the old 1's that have been restored like the Palais Thermal and Vierordtbad or where they have events where the whole complex is FKK like Miramar, Wienheim.

During the winter season, the nudist schedule will be on Saturdays not holidays, from 9.15 p.m. to 11.00 p.m., and on Sundays, from 4.15 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. The summer season does not have this service (from June 1 to September 30).
The entrance allows you to use, during the entire process of the center's improvements, the indoor swimming pool.

I went a few years back and it was cool and very friendly

I also had a little adventure:

A fit and friendly guy offered to let me use his locker as the padlock I had brought didn't work.
In went all my clothes, wallet, phone and passport (!!)
I did a 500m swim, got out and then couldn't find a trace of the guy for 2 hours !!!!!!!!!!
I wandered around completely naked desperately searching and trying, in my near-zero Spanish, to see if anyone had seen him.
The locker was locked closed so I guessed he was still there.....
Finally, as the session ended he appeared from the basement where he had been enjoying the second sauna LOL.

All was OK and he kindly gave me a lift.
We drove back through the torrential rain for a "warm-up" at my place.

Never to be forgotten, at least by me

Last weekend I had my first experience in a German (mixed and nude) sauna and it was amazing.
Caught my eye that 99% of guys shave completely their pubes. As I'm a bit more hairy and I just trim it, I felt a bit odd among those hairless guys.
I know no one cares there, but I wanna ask if you "prepare" yourself before going to the sauna and shaving your hair.

I do not want it to be an openly gay only sauna as I will be going with 2 straight friends and 2 female friends so we would all like to go somewhere together. We couldn't find a mixed nude spa anywhere in Madrid that the other guys felt comfortable in attending. The closest we got was going to an outdoor lido.

The public pools usually have an attached sauna area. That usually includes sauna, steam, tubs, etc...all used naked. Be sure to understand the sauna rules...towel goes between every part of you and the wood... feet too.

There's a large sauna attached to the Olympic Pool in Munich.

There's an extra charge to add a sauna visit in addition to a swim.

The Volksbad in Munich is quite nice as well.

The nice gyms also have naked sauna and relax areas.
