Here is Hans Christian, the winner of this year's "naked run" at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. The three-day festival of rock music is one of Europe´s biggest and this year it celebrates its 40 year old birthday. The festival has maintained the the tradition of nakedness, love and drugs dating back to the early hippie days.
The other pictures show a few of the contestants from the run.

Interesting that in the above pictures, there is a high percentage of males whose foreskin is retracted while they are running.

Those pictures are hot, not to put a downer on this thread I just saw that a women has died at the festival. She fell from a tower near an aerial cableway.

Actual no never heard of it... but it proves my point, why is it run so late in the evening ? I.e so there is not many people around.... who would find it rather inapropriate.... again proves my point.... about us british...

Late evening? Did you see the pics? It was in the middle of the day in Zone 1, Central London. It went through Oxford Circus; arguably one of the most densely populated areas in Britain for pedestrian traffic.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think men running naked look a little silly? I have a friend who used to do porn under the name "York Powers". He is just an all round beautiful man; very well hung. In one of his films, he had to run naked. The scene was shown in slow motion and I couldn't help laughing...

Yes it was such a tragic event, but considering that more than 80,000 people are gathered at the festival (and many of them have consumed drugs or alcohol) it's actually amazing how few accidents occur.

Running naked in places and at times when you shouldn't.

You only hear about it now when someone does it at a major sporting event but it was quite a common pastime here in the UK all, over the place.

I love how some people feel that putting a "not to put/not to be..." disclaimer in their post absolves them what they exactly end up doing. I mean, how could the mention of a woman's untimely death NOT put a downer on a light-hearted thread? Especially in the way this post was done - it wasn't made in direct reference to anything or even as a comment on thread topic. It seems it was made for no reason other than to specifically point out some upsetting news that happened at the same event as the Naked Run. Some people just like being harbingers of doom, I guess.

Roskilde is a festival I'd love to go to, and definitely would one day love to do a naked run.

I did the Naked Bike Ride in London in 2009. Over 1000 people riding through Central London on a Saturday afternoon. Bright sunlight, right through Oxford Circus, and after Trooping the Colour earlier in the day, no less. lol

September 2009 and Philadelphia had their first Naked Bike Ride. They seem to get close to 1000 as well, now, (compared to New York City getting less then 100,) but Philly's starts later in the day and ends up after dark in a totally different area of the city. That hurts the attendance in Philly. Wish they could learn how to do it right from London.

Number 24 is looking pretty fit in that second picture
