I just wanted to see if there were any interest in this subject
Personally...I think there should be a special music section on this board.
    Hey mods...get on it
Actually, it's hard to pick just five bands, but here goes.
BTW... 3 honorable mentions are allowed.
And this thread isn't limited to just rock music.

    AC/DC
    Deep Purple
    Led Zeppelin
    Pink Floyd
    The Who

    Honorable mention
    Queen
    Kiss
    Early Aerosmith..(Columbia catalog only)

    Let's keep this thread going!

For rock in no particular order:
    Led Zeplin
    Aerosmith
    Rolling Stones
    AC/DC
    The Black Crowes
    G&R

    My favorite live show?

Gov't Mule (if they're in town I highly recomend them) if you want to try them get a live show not a studio album.
    Blues Traveler- before Bobby died
    Rolling Stones - pre 1998
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
    Phish

Is this thread specifically about Rock groups or not? If not then this Top 5 has recently been done. Here.

Sticking to ROCK would make it a little different I suppose. But you imply otherwise in your original post...
