"Natsumi" (阿Geng) media share/search (please help!)

Hey y'all,

I don't know if it's okay to do this (I'm new here, so apologies in advance if it's inappropriate), but I thought I should try.

There's this one Chinese guy I'm obsessed with, so I'm now trying to find all media pieces he's involved with. I've affectionately nicknamed him "Natsumi" because of how handsome he is (among other reasons...If you know about Camp Buddy, you know what I'm talking about) Now I don't speak Chinese, but I do have Google Translate and a dream (which is to "catch 'em all"), so hopefully you guys can help with that!

I'm attaching two kinds of files: pictures (thumbnails) from videos I haven't found yet (that's where you come in), and all the videos I've found so far (apparently there's an attachment limit per post, so I guess I'll need to make separate posts). In both cases the filenames start with the video duration, and include the URL of where the video was found or is supposed to be. In many cases the videos I haven't found haven't been deleted, but they're not readily accessible.

Other than that, I know his usernames on Douyin/抖音 (the Chinese TikTok) are 阿Geng ( https://www.douyin.com/user/MS4wLjA...IK2jOFw8H4sYfQdJAo7m2fEdTN5aJRnksd9vu-MUAgqJc ) and 爱的运动 ( https://www.douyin.com/user/MS4wLjA...7pxJ5s9YKUxoAJ8dXyqoJM6E7WzdPVE77OfpS2P1r4yd5 ), on GBLive it is (or was) 大鸟主播, and on WeChat/微信 it's zg91415. Now I don't have access to any of these Chinese apps, but I was able at least to confirm the Douyin ones since they have a web version that doesn't require login (his secound Douyin account - 爱的运动 - is oddly empty, so I suspect it might have age-restricted videos). As far as I understand GBLive might not exist anymore, but apparently WeChat/微信 does (so that might have more content as well).


As general tools, for image similarity search I've been using image-search.org (especially with Yandex and Google), and for translation Google Translate and Translate text from photos from English and other languages – Yandex.Translate (for translating text from images/screenshots). Google Cache and Web Archive searches (Google Cache Search: View Cached Pages & Websites) have been occasionally helpful.

I was kinda hoping Web Archive would be more helpful (and less daunting) than it actually is, but it's been tough. Probably the most relevant datasets are xvideos.com : Free Web : Free Download, Borrow and Streaming : Internet Archive are pornhub.com : Free Web : Free Download, Borrow and Streaming : Internet Archive (you'll quickly realize that seeing the URLs from the thumbnails which videos I haven't found), but their internal IDs are based a timestamp of when the video retrieved (which has absolutely nothing to do with the original video IDs used by those websites, which makes this a cross-referecing nightmare).

Also, I believe a few people of interest are the ones who posted some of those videos on Twitter (all Chinese speakers, so I have no idea if they know English or not). They are Max帝师 (@Max66888) , 虎鲸与海 (@lovebig_106969) , and jnj1995 (@jnj19951) . There's also one person who bragged about "having several of his videos" (幽鹤 (@HM7XLHMiFTVgdFF) - paste that link in Google Translate and it translates the whole page), but I don't think they're willing to share.

Finally (trying to understand the comments on 【肌肉帅哥】这一笑，有点小清新的感觉。_哔哩哔哩_bilibili ), someone there (angelCK-) said that the "Rainbow World (彩虹世界) still has resources of him", but I haven't made sense of that yet (maybe Rainbow World/彩虹世界 is another Chinese app I won't be able to access - I think that's the case, since someone else asked if there was any software they could download for Rainbow World -, or maybe that's just a generic term for "gay internet" or something like that).

Most likely, since quite a few people on Twitter were bragging about having his WeChat/微信 (it should be zg91415, according to one of the videos). I also think his secondary Douyin account (爱的运动) is for streaming. So, if you wanna figure out how to log onto Douyin or WeChat and answer that question yourself (and share the results), please do so

Ah, so that's the key word I was missing ("group"). Apparently you can join a WeChat group under 100 members if you have the QR code for the group (which gives you a link to do so, like this one - which is not his). After that, you need to receive an invitation from someone in the group. So depending on how many members the group has a "QR code hunt" might still be worth it. Otherwise, maybe try talking to someone in the group (like @lovebig_106969 , @x9uwbegXz3FOuiU, @lulu96399226 or @zhouxiaobao10 - see this tweet). Also, I'm not sure the (group?) code zg91415 even matters anymore, but according to this tweet the current WeChat code would be wfx171128.

Thanks for trying to help! So the verification was another step I wasn't aware about...According to this link you need to be verified by an existing WeChat user (hoo boy). There seems to be a subreddit just for that (r/WeChatVerifications), but taking a quick look at the posts/flairs it seems people just made a "market" out of it (because of course they would ). I found two other Reddit posts about alternative methods to do it, but I'm not sure if they work (maybe someone on r/Wechat could be willing to help). According to the first link, It might be worth trying to contact the WeChat support team, but there's no guarantee you'll get a response (apparently they're more likely to respond if the message is sent in Chinese, so use Google Translate and "pray", I guess). And oh yeah, and if you do manage to figure it out, use a VPN to be extra safe, I suppose (the first link also talks more about that).

This just in: there's someone selling a pack of 10TB of videos for 99 Yuan (that's $14.20) on Twitter (relevant tweets: tweet 1, tweet 2). No idea how much of those 10TB are from his videos, but since it's a bundle sale there's not much of a choice here. The tweets say you need to have access to 曲奇云盘/cookie cloud disk (App Store/Android) and a 主页QQ/QQ home page (Tencent QQ is "an instant messaging software service and web portal developed by the Chinese technology company Tencent"). I'm not sure if they mean you just need a QQ account on the website, or if you also need to have the QQ app (Android/App Store).

One of those tweets also had a video I'd never seen, so there's definitely more of his stuff there (even though I didn't find his name on the attached video list - I'm assuming that "(X) N parts/units" means "the pack has N videos from person X"). The 5 entries starting with "阿" on the list are 阿瑞(37部) (Ā ruì), 阿力(04部) (Ā lì), 阿橙卡卡(21部) (Ā chéng kǎ kǎ), 阿东(12部) (Ā dōng), and 阿空(98部) (Ā kōng). If he's there, he should be on the top list (大陆专辑/mainland (China) album), so that narrows the possibilities down to 阿瑞(37部) (Ā ruì), 阿力(04部) (Ā lì) and 阿橙卡卡(21部) (Ā chéng kǎ kǎ). I wondered if "Geng" was written in Chinese (Wikipedia says "Geng is the Mandarin pinyin romanization of the Chinese surname written 耿 in Chinese character"), but the only name that has 耿 is 耿野(07部) (Gěng yě), so it doesn't look like a match.
