If I were to try one of the taping methods, what is the best tape to use for the lowest price (art major = VERY little extra cash)

3M Micropore tape is commonly used for foreskin restoration. It is easy to get, is used for medical purposes and is not that expensive.

Try your local pharmacy, if they don't have it, try a medical supply store.

As someone who has attempted restoration with painter's tape in an attempt to save money, I have a single piece of advice. Don't. Seriously, spend the extra money. With my restoration attempts with non-porous tape, I would literally just go until it felt like my penis was on fire. Ever slowly peel a bandaid off a really painful scrape, where the bandaid is stuck to the injury or the hair, and it really hurts? Imagine that on your dick. Nothing will kill your enthusiasm for restoration faster than this. Spend the extra money. That is all.
