I spent a summer when I was in school working in a candy factory, I saw toooooo much chocolate candy that summer so I only eat chocolate at EAser time now.

In recent years, there has been a push for manufacturers to stop using palm oil (vegetable oil) in their chocolate. Some companies have already stopped using it, but whether that affects the actual taste or not, I don't know. But it was the first thing I could think of.

Yup!

I think Hershey's made Cadbury's under license in the US - and swapped Cocoa Butter for sugar, so it didn't taste as nice, and lost the trademark chalkiness. :(
