    Hi,

After watching TBN for the last few days and viewing again two of my favorite movies "The Mambo Kings" and "Gone with the Wind" I noticed that there we similarities in the main male characters. Though "Mambo Kings" was about the "Fabulous Castillo Brothers" immigrant musicians from Cuba, and "Gone with the Wind" was about the Ante and Post bellum South, there was one aesthete dreamer and one leonine ladies' man. Which would you say you most resembled guys and why?

Rhett Butler. You've heard me speak, Kimiquesha. You know I've got the soul of a rapscallion blockade runner.

    But of course,

and you know the rules like any generationally rooted Charlestonian should, whether you abide by them or not! Rhett may have been "sho nuff bad" but he was priming the old biddies so when the time came, Bonnie would have been the undisputed belle of St Cecilias....

    Ashley Wilkes.

I'm slightly gay and a bit on the snotty side.

my one genealogical line that is not from New England is a French Huguenot connection (mid-18th century) to Charleston. My mother's a member of the Huguenot Society there and it's one freaking incredible city.

I've been to services in the Gothic Huguenot Church there and have ancestors buried in the front row of the churchyard along the street.
