What do you guys think of the #NeverBiden thing?

I'm of two minds about it. I think no candidate is ever entitled to your vote and you're free to vote or not vote. However, I do think there is some sore loser type mentality among the people going this route. They just can't accept that Bernie lost and are throwing a political tantrum.

What do you think?

Well, I’d say current events are changing all the assumptions we’ve had about how the 2020 election is going to play out. Not only for the obvious political reasons, but also because all three of the likely players (Bernie, Biden and Trump) are men of very advanced age. I honestly don’t think it’s safe to assume all three of them will still be here in six months.

With that said, most of the Bernie supporters throwing a tantrum will turn out for Biden. Bernie supporters are more passionate than Biden supporters, but Biden appeals to a broader segment of the population. Bernie supporters will realize that staying home on Election Day is the same as voting for Trump.

I agree that no candidate is entitled to a vote, but we are at a point where we have no choice left. Trump is the greatest threat to the nation and the western alliances ever. Ever. I am totally serious about that and deeply concerned about the damage that will never be undone.

I read a commentator yesterday saying, " well , Biden was my seventh choice. . . " I get that. He is not ideal now and has been problematic for various reasons most of his career. Still, I do vote for him because he is capable of picking good judges for the bench, strong people to run the government and advance solutions to the problems Trump ignored and created

I sick of the Bernie and Tulsi crowd saying Trump must be replaced but fueling the division that will keep him in pkace. I guess it is time for Jill Stein and the anti-vaccers to read their idiot heads in the middle of a pandemic and insure Trump is re-elected because they worry about vaccines causing zits.

The fake progressive s here kill me with "I hate Trump but could never vote for Hillary. " A pox on your houses. I have nothing but respect for the many progressives that sincerely believe in Bernie over Biden for good, logical reasons, but see the danger we face and support Biden for the greater good.

As the despicable blot on humanity stands before us and says proudly, "It is not my faukt, I have no responsibility, and the state's need to get their own ventilators," I just have no patience for his enablers demanding purity to their cause.

These people betray their conscience, country and humanity.

Exactly. Where the hell have some people been the last 3 yrs as we dance this very second with chaos from the chaos presidency. We are at DEFCON-1 for democracy as we know it. We do not have the luxury of litmus testing the firefighters.

With the writing on the wall, the other candidates were able to graciously withdraw for the good of the cause-—remove Trump. It appears, more and more, that Gabbard and Sanders are in it for themselves and their egos—just like Trump. They enable their enablers—just like Trump. Stomping your feet and holding your breath until you turn blue has never worked for anyone Everybody loses and Trump waddles back in to finish his destruction. Or, one becomes leader; and, in placing the good of the nation first, wisely brings in all that wealth of knowledge and ideas from the other candidates and creates a great team working for the betterment of the country. Place your priorities correctly.

This what you get when you pander to identity politics and try to dramatically move the foundations of a country to a wildly different place.

People think conservatism is dying. It is not. The players will change, but there will always be a tug of war over limited resources.

Example: Many young people think boomers are bad. They forget, today’s boomers were yesterday’s anti war, anti establishment hippies, who were far more liberal than today’s millennials. But over time, people tend to revert to the mean, and that means protecting one’s resources from attack. A 35 year old gay man today will be so much more conservative when he is 70 and dependent on government.

Everybody is liberal until they get a mortgage and start paying taxes.

And maybe much of it is bullshit posted by Russian bots and right winged, Bernie bros imposters, though I've no doubt there are some real ones out there too, thinking along those lines. Maybe they're figuring after four years of Trump, America will be foaming at the bit for someone like Bernie.

Though, as I remember that was what they were thinking four years ago. Four more years of Trump and there may damn well not BE another election... for quite some time. Democracy is on its deathbed. (In more ways than one). But hey, it's THEIR future they're fucking with.

I’ve never voted for a republican in my adult life but I refuse to vote for Biden. I will vote for a yet to be seen independent candidate or I may stay home.

Thanks... I’ll be at home eating nachos while watching the screeching from the media and partisans like you once Trump wins again.

Why don't you just go and vote for him? Give him your support. Clearly you don't have much of a problem him being president.

As far as the partisan "slur" I embrace it. Doesn't bother me one bit. Democracy as we know it is in a 4 alarm fire and I don't intend to waste my vote for an independent.

Exactly. As for Sanders its no surprise at all he's not bowing out. He has a lot of Trumpian characteristics.

Like typical Democrats. Obama came from nowhere cause he did this....
.

Bernie does it different....he does not change, he sticks to his guns...He would have won last time. Now, with a social crisis in motion, you would have to ask yourself....will capitalism lead us, greed and need.......or social need?

Huh? He beat Dons rhetoric of Birth certificate because of honesty.......Don has no defence against truth.

The US has been presented with some very confronting issues. Who do you think at this point in time would handle them better...Don, Bernie, Bidden....?

No I don’t have a problem with him being president. Why should I? Millions of Americans voted for him even though I didn’t. They won, we lost. That’s the process. But it doesn’t mean I have to accept a 78yr old man suffering from early stages of cognitive impairment as the Democratic nominee.

Minus the combover and lack of IQ. There was a time for Sanders, but It is long passed. It’s time to for him to suck it up, man up, and ride off into the sunset graciously. His strength is what he can do and contribute to the Senate and to a new administration.
Thanks... I’ll be at home eating nachos while watching the screeching from the media and partisans like you once Trump wins again.
And...thank you for that image and the laugh. For that to happen would depend on if you and the stable genius survive his 10 out of 10 well-planned administrative emergency plan for the Trump virus. Try not to gag on those nachos. “I have no responsibility at all.” Stay safe. Don’t’ listen to Trump. He would MAGA and KAG during this international crisis if sent on a permanent golf weekend in a third world country at his own expense. With a muzzle and no phone.:D

And, in fairness...it doesn’t mean I have to accept a 74yr old man suffering from the early stages of cognitive impairment as the Republican incumbent. Just sayin’.

When in doubt, vote for a person who has stuck to their guns all through their lives, believe they can change the greed which has taken possession of the US into a United States.

I'm not a US citizen...a person who has had a belief all their life, has seen the US through many changes, yet has a belief that a United States is better and stronger than a divided one would have my vote.

Does not matter how old they are.

I've not heard of something which sounded as suspiciously Cambridge Analytica / Russian Trollbot since I watched a documentary on Netflix about Cambridge Analytica and Russian Trollbots.

Fuck off with that noise :p
