Sometimes there's a bit too much pattriotism, wartrac.

You can have pride in your service without having to show everyone.

Wearing your dress uniform for a special occasion is too much Patriotism?

Are you telling me wearing your uniform offends people? What is the big deal about wearing the uniform of something your proud of? Police Officers have dress uniforms they can wear to certain functions as well, is that wrong?

If you don't like it, don't look at the person wearing it.

I didn't say it offends people. I'm just saying I think it looks stupid on your wedding(and a lot of others agree) and a tux isn't that expensive...

But people can do as they want...

Did anyone bother to notice how happy they are in the photos...?
Of course they are happy, when was the last time you saw an angry idiot? Sorry to be so blunt but those two are obviously of limited intellect.

They do look happy!
Plus, we all can't be beautiful.
THere is a difference between not beautiful and that. I'm sorry, I know I'll never win a beauty contest but them are some messed up looking folks. It's like they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. :frown1:

Oh, and is 1/2 this cake covered in B-B-Q sauce???
No, I think the bride licked off the frosting.

As long as they're happy...
And why do they always wear their uniform? Unless they're royal, it's ridiculous. Sometimes there's a bit too much pattriotism, wartrac. You can have pride in your service without having to show everyone.
:wtf2: It's not like they wear the dress uniform to Home Depot and Wal-Mart it is only worn when a Tuxedo might be worn i.e. formal occassions. I have no problem with it. But then again I grew up near a Navy base. Dress whites were always seen at weddings.

Yes, so many others agree with that opinion

However, if you do, again, don't go to that event, or don't look at the person or don't look at the pictures.

It's a symbol of something people are proud of and want to incorporate it into something else that's important in their lives.

You're actually the first person I've heard that said wearing a dress uniform to a wedding is stupid. But hey it's your opinion.

I never go to such an event, since people don't do that here.
I've only seen it done by royalty here.

But if you think it looks good, it's your opinion. Totally respect that
