A new ad has popped up on the telly down here. I think it's spot on. I commute all the time and I've seen some creepy behaviour and outright sexual aggression in my years, from fixed staring to actual grinding on unsuspecting women as they try to get past and leave the carriage.


It's highlighted the issue and its actually made me regret some of the times where I could have actually done something different like standing between a creep and their victim. If its meant to make people more mindful of what's actually going on in society it has worked. At least on me.

Are there ad campaigns like this in the US? Elsewhere?

I've only seen those ads on another thread here. I've seen something similar in the US. The church of latter day saints puts out little 25-second skits about good citizenship that are in a similar vein. They seem to be targeted to youth, however, and are not necessarily about sexism or sexually inappropriate behavior.
