Hi all...I'm new to the group and have posted some pics and a video. I'd love comments. Looking forward to meeting some new friends on this site.

Welcome, I'm also new. I'll be checking out older threads, since a lot of the older members have covered certain topics earlier; it should make for some good reading!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, this is the one and only board I've ever joined. What is surprising is that I tend toward academic pursuits, for which there are hundreds of message boards; but this one seems to have honest, smart folks that lack the ego/pretense that can take over some boards...and some humorous posts as well. All in all, well balanced...just be careful about starting a thread on the new Pope!

Yeah, well, mine wasn&#39;t so much a Midwest joke as it was an Ohio joke. (As in printing touch-screen ballots. Diebold says that technology doesn&#39;t exist.)

That&#39;s the same people who deilivered machines to my state that were already registering votes for bush right out of the box&#33; Talk about efficiency, apparently we don&#39;t even have to vote, so why bother printing?

My info came from a pollworker who saw it, not from some leftist nutjob like myself, for anyone interested.

Let see, Jonb, do you have a relative solid satistical data on how many Native Americans that were systematically removed from the United States through "forced migration and assorted other technics" between 1800 and 1900? Technics that while were "not outright murder", but nevertheless were calibrated to see that many Native Americans would not survive. Example: The Trail of Tears.
