Just wanted to post my introduction onto this site. However, this is probably be a bad time to start doing this, seeing as I gave up masturbation for Lent. Let me know if you have any advice on how to go the distance.

Firstly, welcome to the LPSG community! It's a great forum.
I've "gone the distance" before, abstaining from masturbation for over 5 months actually. You're right, being on sites like these when trying to abstain isn't a good idea. The best advice I can give you is to keep busy doing other things, keep your mind on other things and tap into your will power. The journey of abstinence is different for each guy, but if you have the will power, you should be able to accomplish it. Good luck!
