So you're average... the same as the majority of men.... and you don't feel like much of a man because of it?. You really should look average up in the dictionary.

While you're at it, drop into the store and get a life. Who bases their worth on what's in their boxers?

No, a big penis isn't going to go get a job and earn cash and put you through law school, obviously.

Sorry I got defensive there for a while. This is just an important topic to me, and a few responses have been flippant and insensitive, such as this idea that I need to "get a life" because I base my self-esteem on what is in my pants. First of all, fuck you to the person who said that! -- if this issue wasn't important, viagra and penis enlargement AND THIS VERY FORUM wouldn't even exist, okay? I'm not the only man whose self-esteem is affected by his penis size. I may, in fact, be the three-billionth man who is!

Now, that aside, yes, I was in a cranky mood for a minute there, and I apologize. I suppose it's just inevitable that some people here will be irritating because that's the way the world goes.

Witty retort. I think you know what I mean though. And, by the way, a lot of them die from AIDS as well.

of course they aren't. They're super people. Takes alot of guts to yeild your body over to some sick, perverted man, who will bust his load in you, instead of the little girl next door.

And this is why they should leaglize prostitution.....

(waiting to see who's gonna blow that comment out of proportion.)

Well, our moderator Mister Mark says this site is open to anyone who has, is interested in, or is affected by large penises, so in that vein you are right at home here.

I understand what you are saying that it is your perception of yourself and not what other people think that is bothering you, I think that's an important distinction. The thing you must realise is that you are NOT alone- nowhere near it. If some answers seem flippant it may be partially because this is not the first or 500th time we've heard this. It's the biggest thing going on in YOUR life right now, but for many of us, we've talked through this one many times and (I'm speaking for myself now) sometimes feel frustrated that we don't have a magic pill to give you to help speed up the process.
FWIW, 6.5" is a big penis, average erect size is about 5.5". I know that facts like these aren't really the problem, but another thing is that MOST porn stars lie about their sizes too. There are actually extremely few 10" penises in the WORLD and not all of them choose porn as their employment!

Like so many things in life, it IS a process, and it will happen at the rate YOU allow it to happen. You can make friends here if you so choose, or you can just dump on us for issues we are not having, it's really your choice. I hope you'll find a way to fit yourself in, you'll probably find this a very supportive place to be when it used for support.

Welcome to the pad.

Jace: Welcome Skinny G. Pull up a chair and join right in where ever you feel comfortable. I agree with Madame Zora, you're not what I'd call small. You're on the upper side of average and that should make you feel better about yourself. Personally I don't consider my penis when I am tallying my self worth, it's just not that important. Like others have said, it was something determined by my familys gene pool, it's not something that I had any influence or control over. Now I do take pride in my body, work and things that I have an influence or control over. You can look in the gallery and see a picture I posted of my ass. I have worked very hard to achieve and keep that ass in that shape. Therefore I do take pride in my ass. At work I do the very best of my ability and I'm continually taking classes and going to different workshops to stay on top of my game and do the best I can in my job. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are too many other factors in figuring your self worth to consider to even be worried about the size of your penis. If it works like it's supposed to and is big enough to use properly then you shouldn't be concerned about any thing else about it. I know that's easier said than done, but it can be done.

everyone here is so beautiful!

SG...i totally sympathize with the desire to have "more" and to think that if you did, all would be well. and some of these guys won't really be able to understand that situation cuz they are not in THAT situation. Just as you don't understand their situation--having larger than average or even huge penises yet still having to pay bills, deal with relationship dynamics, fears and foibles, etc., go to work, find clothes that fit, stay healthy....yada yada.

you're also definitely bigger than many 'average' guys, so you can be happy about that and to know that you cna please your partner, whomever that turns out to be. i check in at jst 6 inches, and i've been with a gal whose ex was 9.5 inches, yet she loves sex with me much more than her ex, cuz i have skills and compassion and tenderness and emotional engagement, not just a big topedo between my legs. i'd like to have that too, but such is life!

you have to convince yourself that you are adequate, loveable, and a fine human being, in your mind....then all the other stuff will follow. you also look like a cuter, younger version of Al Pacino too. nice! :hi:

i DO think penis envy is a guy thing, though. WTF was Freud talking about with it being a woman's issue??!!

Gotta hand it to you, Skinny. You're off to a great start. Two posts and more than 65 replies and 1000 views. The usual assholes tried to threadjack you early on but the rest of the board stepped up and your sincerity beat out their snarkiness.

Glad you're with us!

And I think you have a hot cock, for what it's worth.

You know, I wrote something bitchy here, but I actually don't think that's the right thing to do. I should have sent a PM first instead. Sorry HM. Today I appreciate the edit button!

Hey bro,

I know one thing and that is if you don't feel ok about yourself (cock size, body image, attitude) it'll come out somehow in your relationships with others, including the people who love and care about you. So to me the issue you bring up is important. What I've found in the relationships I've had with women is that none of them really put a lot of stock in the larger size of my penis. They were all very interested in what kind of person I was, how I treated them, how I expressed myself, what my values were, and if I loved them.

Since I also had issues about my size in the past and being self-conscious, I've had to work through my negative feelings, and that does require a fucking lot of self-examination and communication.

I'm hoping all the best for you.

Response for Everyone:

I'm a bit overwhelmed here by how kind some of your recent messages have been. Part of me can't believe I've found a place to talk about these issues. I'm really moved to see other people talking about all of this. I find it intellectually stimulating -- and sexually stimulating. That might sound weird, coming from a self-identified "straight" man. I suppose the thing for me is, talking about this raises the masculine energy in me -- and then makes me want to have sex with a woman. Does that make any sense? I suppose it's kind of like the dynamic of a huddle before a football game. They are building their energy in that regard.

Thank you again to everyone who has replied warmly to me in this thread. It means a lot to me.

I'll be back to write more later, but in the meantime I think I should mention a few things:

1. The first thing is -- I'm really sorry to have apparently misled some of you -- but that isn't a picture of me in my avatar. That's actually a picture of Michael Imperioli, the actor from The Sopranos. I took my username from his character. On the show, he sometimes refers to himself as a "Skinny Guinea." I am, however, Italian American and therefore bear a slight resemblance to him (my hair does that same pompador thing his does, etc). I don't exactly look like Michael Imperioli, but I have a similar look and I think I am just as good looking as he is. (Sorry if that sounds egotistical. It's just what I've been told. I'm actually a model.) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0408284/

2. About Freud's comments regarding penis envy: I think we have to remember the timeframe he was working in. To my knowledge, Freud's first book was published in 1900. At that point in the US women couldn't even vote! I think that if "penis" is a metaphor for "power," then it was justified back then to say that women had "penis envy" because what it really meant was that women wanted what men had and what women were denied -- POWER. I don't know if Freud literally meant that he believed women wanted to have that appendage attached to their bodies, but that they wanted what the penis represents. And the penis represents power. The size fixation is definitely a male thing, though.

Welcome to the LPSG as well. I stumbled across the forum looking for "custom underwear". But many, many of the topics hit home so hard that it is astonishing. Men do not talk to each other like women do so we have an outlet like this which I am greatful for. The perspective that this forum and so very many topics have done for me I cannot even begin to tell you. It is a step below seing a shrink. Having your feelings, thoughts and experinces validated here has been a god send and I am so greatful. In addition you do not have to always respond read and learn I have and learned a lot about myself and others. Again welcome. My signature says it all for me.

Welcome Bro, I think you'll find this a really interesting site.

I know this is a big issue with you, and since I don't have the time I won't get into it, but you really shouldn't worry. You are perfectly fine at your size, and the more you worry about it the more complaints you will get. The less, the better you'll feel. Trust me, it's just that simple.

Oh yeah and as for Freuds theories, they are just that, 'Theories'.
