Your lack of regard for the law is not surprising.

And where is there a law saying that it's illegal for two men dressed up in military garb, one holding a stick, to stand in front of a building? As much as you want to make this about "voter intimidation", you have no leg to stand on. Because you have to prove that people were actually scared off by the two men in the video and nobody was.

Oh, and BTW... in a third thread about this, we find that one of the "evil black men" in question actually LIVED in the building. Thanks for pointing that out, dreamer20. http://www.lpsg.org/108598-get-ready-5.html#post2322328

You can put down your "We Shall Overcome" sign now.

No shit, but it's okay to go to a town hall meeting with an assault rifle strapped to your back? The right wing hypocrisy is amazing here.

Yep, if properly licensed and following the law, that right is protected by the 2nd Amendment.

Voter intimidation, on the other hand, is not legal.

And as for the residence of those two guys, committing a crime (allegedly) in front of one's own home does not make it any less illegal.

No, what you said is not illegal at all. However, that was not just "some building," that was a Polling Place on Election Day. Big difference.

And if some Republican was standing in front of a polling place with a rifle,in a black neighborhood, I surmise that Jesse Jackson would be outraged and would be shouting "voter intimidation."

I think the real problem that some of the posters on this board have is that they feel that playing the "victim" game is the democrat routine, and when others decide to "play the victim game," they take offense.

Wow, so I guess now people know how the Repubs feel every time some new "victimization" takes place. Not too nice, is it?

You like to toss that word around, when really there was no victims.
Nobody was arrested. Nobody was "scared off". The only one acting like a victim right now is you.

"Like, OMG. There's black men in army pants with a stick in front of my building. They might beat up someone! They just HAVE to be up to nothing good, I can just FEEL IT! Quick, someone call the police!!"

LOL... the problem is, sweetie, I don't overreact to situations like you. I don't instantly judge people based on how they're dressed. Only someone who already visualizes themselves as a victim would do such a thing. What's the point of using the buzzwords if you don't even know how they apply?

I'm sure if they were white your tune would be turned 180 degrees.

Ummmm... no I wouldn't. But thanks for assuming that I'm a discriminating bigot such as yourself. And just because I know what your next hypothetical would be... yes, I have walked into a building, unaffected, with KKK members outside of it. Even if I did have my own opinions about the organization, they actually would have to DO something. Just standing around doesn't cut it.

Keep digging your own grave, dear...

Yes I have. And I'm still standing.
There is a little something called imprisonment. Deep down, even the most kooky of extremists want to avoid that at all costs. So as much as they want to try and push their will on others, most usually don't go to extremes such as getting physical to do it. As long as someone is not physically causing any problems then why should I let their mere existence bother me?

So you have no problem with the Klan existing?

They were here before I was born, and I'm sure they will be here long after I'm gone. So why even stress over the fact that they're here? They have every right to believe what they want... just don't cause physical harm to myself or the people I love.

You call me a racist, and even I do.

Well, to be honest I don't ever recall accusing you of being a racist. I do recall how you consider the "r-word" to be an overplayed, "political buzzword" by liberals and Democrats. So, just for the sake of the extensive exchanges of words we've had, I decided not to use it. Look through my posts (thoroughly) for the last few weeks... you'll see that I barely even mentioned the word.

Now, whether or not someone else finds you to be a racist is a different story and that has nothing to do with what I said.

It could well be argued that the existence of people calling themselves "Black Panthers" near polling places might've had the opposite effect: pissing people off and causing them to vote in a contrary way. I sure as hell would've.

But, as I said in the other thread, I'd be interested in seeing these so-called "Panthers" investigated, IF they're planning on ALSO investigating these lying Republican campaign mo-f-ers, who told people they were supposed to vote on another day, and who threatened legal Hispanic U.S. citizens with deportation.

Lets investigate all of the bastards.
