New LPSG Requirement - Go Look at a Ruler!

I swear it should be a requirement that everyone here posting length estimations go look at a 12 inch ruler before doing so.

I cannot remember how many times I've seen someone estimate the length of someone in a pic/vid and just be ridiculously wrong.

Please take a look at how long just 10 inches is, let alone 12. Then, hopefully you will have realized that not many members here or even porn stars really have that length, let alone longer!

Is it really that hard not to confuse 6-9 inches with 10+? Or are we including scrotum length in the measurement too now?

Last time I checked, penis length was the length of your penis. My inches are 2.54 cm - how about yours?

This is friggin' hilarious! I agree. We measured my husband's length with a ruler some time ago (7.5"), and before I posted on the site, we measured his girth with a tape measure (5.5").

However, when I was just starting my novel, I was imagining the hero's dick to be about 10". I told my husband about this and he said..."that's really long!" (He worked as a carpenter for years, and thus is a very good estimator of length.)

Anyway, we were fooling around, and when I was fully aroused, he put my favorite Phallix glass dildo inside me as far it as would go, noted that spot, and then pulled it out. When he measured and showed me how much more I would have to take for it to be 10", I was shocked! I originally had 10" in my mind for the novel hero's length...but that is a lot of cock! I don't think most people have any idea what 10 inches would look like up close and personal, let alone 12.

This is a good point... but it's something that's just going to fall on deaf ears unfortunately.

I mean I know I'm big, but I always feel weird saying it here because (despite what all the pms/comments I get tell me) when I grab that ruler, and see I am just shy of that 8 inch mark, I can't help but think there's all these people out there that are inches bigger than me. Even though I know there's not that many in the gallery that are noticeably more than me. With all these people claiming so much more, it gets discouraging. I used to have a measured length photo (a real rarity here) but unfortunately in my last little pissy fit of "I'm not posting here anymore!" I deleted it. :redface:

The problem isn't just what people claim they are though, it's also that others are more than willing to believe it. I used to get people telling me: "You can say you're 9 inches... it's ok, we'll believe it." Oy vey... I can't even add more to that one.

But, in truth, LPSG is so much more than penis size (for some at least), I find it's just best not to worry too much about it.

Now if only I could heed my own advice.

I was thinking more along the lines of this guy ... or the guy on here claiming 15 inches... with pics of a tape measure along what was still clearly a big dick, going to 15 (15 what... I think people sort of have this innate ability withing them, to just be able to see a penis and know if it's 'big' or not. I have no idea how... and I'm probably horribly wrong as I often am, but that's really enough if you ask me.

No, you're dead on right! There's no two ways about it, but for starters, "boys will be boys", and boys brag. Boys exaggerate. Many boys, just flat out lie. When looking at pics/vids we do use visual cues to make such estimates. For them to be ridiculously wrong they must not know what an inch is.
