New LPSG Requirement - Go Look at a Ruler!

And yeah it is kinda self destructive and I think those that lie must have some issues either with persona or telling the truth etc. I feel :sad: for some of them. The ones who continually say they are real when they are obviously not. mj wagner is just funny :biggrin1: makes me laugh.

While I do think some outright lie or especially exaggerate their sizes, I don't think most initially do it on purpose. Until recently, there wasn't any correct standard way for guys to measure. Some measured from the side, some from the bottom, some from the top, and some simply looked down and estimated. The one standard reaction I've heard from most was "Man I thought it was bigger!" And if you measure from the bottom, your usually gonna get a higher number. I do think most guys think they are bigger than they actually are until they actually measure correctly. My only question, that I don't think anyone has ever really answered, is how much of us does the other person really feel? If your an inch bigger on the bottom, how couldn't the other person really feel it? I believe the top measurement is the correct one though, and that is the one I always go by...even though the bottom adds another inch and a half.

I actually don't think women are that good of a judge of size either. Unless proven otherwise, I think you can subtract at least one inch from the stated size of any guy.

I can agree that people need to learn how to estimate correctly. The St Louis Arch was built mostly with carefull measure, but someone did an eye-check on it which was recalling from memory less than an inch at the bottom but wound up being 3ish feet at the top.

I am perfectly fine with coming to the LPSG and finding there are people bigger than me (even if some are FOS) because it allows me to feel less the freak. So if you want to post that you are 18 inches long with a 12 inch girth, feel free. I'll just imagine you walking around with half of a yardstick that is square like the 2x4 it would be and grin.

Girls Allways seem to over estimate, there is one girl I chat with regularly who swears im measuring it wrong. I dont know if its that they are bad with estimations or they are used to guys telling them 6 is 8 or whatever the case may be.

I've noticed that standing straight up will take some off your measurement if you're using a hard ruler. If you hunch your back over you will get a bigger measurement. I've done experiments, and I don't think this is a consequence of bone pressing. I'm not sure what causes it. It may have something to do with line of sight.

I think that too many people measure both sides to obtain the 10 + measurement...

I think too many people measure both the topside and the underside of the dick and then add the two figures to calculate the total length. That may account for the numerous 10+ measurements that we read about. That size is simply not as common as the bountiful reports in the chat would indicate!

absolutely true, i'm in the buidling/design industry and work with scales, tape measurers, dimensional lumber, pipe, everything ALL the time and the vast majority of folks have no clear concept of what exactly 6" or 9" or 12" is. a big dick is a big dick, no need to exagerate or lie, we're all duly impressed and would have more fun without the deception. and no, its not jealousy, god bless the boys with huge toys, but if you're lying about your size, then you're just a little bit pathetic.

In all fairness it isnt easy to measure. You can measure 5 nights in a row and get different measurements.

how are people measuring also? I measure from the top, pubic bone to tip. If i measure from underneath where the dick meets the balls for the picnic to the tip i am around 10.5 inches, its all about perception and who you want to believe. If i went out sayin ya man i got me 10.5 inches, the first time i whipped out and the girl didnt see 10.5 i would be branded a liar and would be screwed
