Hello all, i have been a lurker here for a while, and just thought id introduce myself, and share a little story of my own.

Im 30, straight, single, fairly good looking, but i have a pretty average size 6.5 erect. (which would be small compared to alot on here, but whatever). I read the forum just for entertainment value, and stories, not to compare my cock size to everyone else, i was dealt a fairly average size and fairly average looks, oh well. I guess i like to read the forum becuase it is very uncensored and open about sexuality, and also provides the occasional good story.

Well, on to my story.

I have a normal sex life, 2-3 times a week i guess, and have been for years and years. But in the last 1-2 years or so, i have noticed that my erections just dont last as long, and dont have the intensity that they used to. They just havent been like they were when i was 17-18 and could punch a hole in the drywall with my hardon. I can still get turned on, and get hard, but just cant keep it up nearly as long as i would like to. Basically, my body gives up way way before im ready for it to. So for me, lately, sex had been like 10 minutes of foreplay, and then 10 minutes of sex and i would have to finish up before my erection slowly died off. It wasnt like this everytime, some nights i would rock the house and nearly tear the bed apart and fuck for 45 minutes or an hour, and some nights. . . well, it was all i could to stay hard for 5 minutes. There was no apparent ryhme or reason for this, and that was concerning.

Well, those poor performances started to happen a little more frequently, and a few nights ago, i had one of the worst ones ever. I just... could not get aroused, at all. I might as well have had a dick that belonged to a corpse. I had been having back pain and told her that was the reason i was uncomfortable and stressed out, but i knew that wasnt the real reason - something was really going on with my equipment. There is just absolutely no way that I should be getting this little response from my body. Was it stress? depression? Alcohol? I knew i was way way too young to have this-

so i went to the doctor today.

You cant imagine how challenging it was to fill out that new patient form in the waiting room and have to put "E.D." in the reason box. But I did. A few minutes later i found myself in a sterile, cold, non descript examination room waiting to have to have tell a doctor the most embarassing problem of all time. That i cant keep it up.

So sure enough, he walks on in and starts to make lots of small talk, and then gets down to the nitty gritty questions, and the exam. He told me, that id be shocked if I knew how many young middle aged men take viagra, he said its very very common, and dont worry about it and just try and see how it goes for you. He was very very casual and friendly about it. Almost as if he tells someone this daily, which he probably does. Very nice guy.

So i leave get in my car and stare in wonder at this starter pack of tiny little blue pills, wondering if this is all hype and internet bullshit, or if this tiny little blue pill will completely change my sex life around. I tear the package open, with anticipation, open my mt dew, and I take one. at 3:31. I sit there in the car for a few minutes . . . waiting . . nothing yet.

I drive home.

I look at my watch as i open my front door. It is approximately 3:40. My face feels hot, and flush. Kind of like when your blushing, but x 10. Feverish almost. I am getting some good vibes going on down there. I hit the power button on the tv, and dont bother to change the channel. I take my pants off sit on the couch, and proceed to watch whatever comes on. Its judge mathis. Its 4:45

I start to casually fantasize about my girlfriend, without even touching myself. And my cock, within a time span of 30-40 seconds instantly stands to full erection. I havent even touched it. I give it a little squeeze and stroke, and I am absolutely stunned - i mean STUNNED - at how impossibly hard my erection was. I could see the veins stand out, and it actually pulsed and throbbed in unison with my pounding heart rate. I actually stared down at my cock, and laughed in joy and amazement at what I was looking at. I went in to the bathroom, and just stood there and stared it in the mirrow, for at least several minutes. All i can say is, just - wow. Then i thought about all the testimonials and stories, and I thought - THEY WERENT KIDDING. I think the people over at pfeizer might be on to something here.

Just to be sure i wouldnt freak out or have a heart attack or anything i tested it myself with no one there. The side effects are kinda strange, i felt a little bit dizzy, and very flushed and feverish in the face. AFterwards, i did feel kinda jittery and jumpy a little bit, i think maybe even a 1/2 dose would be MORE than enough. Its very expensive, so I assume people cut theirs in half to save $.

So, even IF you have a normal sex drive, and an at least decent erection - trust me , this will make your erection harder than you can even imagine. If my story sounds somewhat similiar to your situation, trust me - try it. And if not and your allready knockin a hole in the drywall with your equipment, then you got a good read at least. :) Im just amazed and stunned - now i know what all the fuss is about!

Good day.

I hear that you can build up a tolerance to that stuff, that you will become addicted to it (by which I mean incapable of achieving erection without it), and that it can give you high blood pressure. Now, I don't expect you to be able to verify or deny these claims, but is there anyone on this forum who can? Inquiring minds want to know.

i would also be interested in hearing about the long term side effects. The doctor did make a casual warning before i left to carefully observe for any imparied vision side effects. . .

I am almost positively certain that my blood pressue was raised. Afterwards i just felt jittery and stressed-

I tried Viagra, and I did NOT like the side effects with even a small dosage. - That was with 1/2 of a pill. (I believe 25mg)

I liked Levitra better, as I didn't have the shocking side effects, but there were still the Jittery and "Pressurized body" feel. You definitely know that something is playing with your body.

Depression and anxiety are erection killers. This would include stresses of work, home life, social life etc.

I'd be very cautious with Viagra, as I have heard lots of horror stories about its side effects.

Having sex is one thing, risking your life and the future of your family is another.

Thanks for posting your experience. Would you (or any guy who has been through this) post the details of what exactly happens during your exam at the doctor's office? Its good to know your doctor was friendly and open about this. What exactly does the exam involve? Thanks. This will clear up a lot of "unknown" for a lot of guys I think, myself included.

Sure, be happy to.

This was a new doctor for me, my last one retired. I basically made some calls to various ads in the yellow pages and just picked out the one that seemed the nicest and most reputable. I needed a new doctor so i was taking care of two tasks at once by going. The most awkward part of the entire experience, was having to fill out that one form on the new patient paper work that said, "Reason for being here".

My exam was very casual. I went in, filled out the generic new patient forms, went to the exam room where the physicians assistant came in and asked me all the questions that you would expect with this type of problem. she couldnt have been more professional and friendly about it. So she asked me to describe my problem, and talk about it a bit, about my lifestyle habbits, general health info, health history, etc.. Once you realize that they have heard this from 1000 different guys allready, its completely routine business for them, and nothing personal.

So then the doctor comes in after an agonizing 15 minute wait. Nicest guy in the entire world, I felt like i knew him from the minute he walked in. For some reason, that really made the entire experience much less humiliating than i thought it would be. So he asked me all the relevant questions, about my sex life, and the exact conditions of the problem, etc.. I didnt have to drop pants and cough, but listened to my heart and breathing, and just did a very quick generic workup. It was very very un-intrusive (or felt that way), and i really felt like he genuinely cared about my concerns.

So he said, ok no big deal - you get the starter pack. Take them home, try one, try it out on your wife, or girlfriend and report back to me. LOL. I said, will do. He said it was very very common for younger healthy normal guys to try it out. He stressed that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES, DO NOT BUY VIAGRA OVER THE INTERNET, because about 80 - 90 % of it is fake.

After trying one today, im really not too sure about it. Yes it did give me a hard on like solid steel, but im not sure if thats worth risking any potential long term side effects. The jury is still out on it. I had elevated blood pressure for about 2-3 hours, and i felt a little jittery and weird. I would never take a full one again, ill only cut them up and take half (if that even)

Id be interested in hearing any other levitra/cialis/viagra experiences.

Thanks.

Have tried on three separate occasions and never liked it once. Have to be honest and say that all were in conjunction with party drugs so some side affects are obviously not from said magical V. But I know what a comedown is like, and I know what bloody shocking headaches Viagra gave me the following few hours. It left me nervous, jittery etc, and as a young person, couldn't see much point of it for me.

Have since spoken to my doctor quite openly about it. He knows about said recreational drug use and has said that he would never presribe it to someone in my situation. Elevated heart rate etc, too many risk factors. Have a fantastic doc who has always been very blunt with me.

Just some of my experience. Sorry can't be more eloquent. Its a bit late at night and I have been on the vineyard all day. Cheers all.

Sanchez, thanks for your post. You illustrate several points I have made in other threads about using erectile enhancing drugs. They are not recreational drugs. They will not make an already healthy erection "even better." They do have some serious risks and side effects.

I don't know about "drug tolerance" with these medications, but it really should be understood that they do not increase desire. The only purpose that they serve is to increase blood flow to a dysfunctional erection. A normal erection occurs when stimulation (from whatever source - imagination, touch, porn, whatever) in the brain signals various glands to produce several enzymes and nitrogen oxides. With these additional chemicals in the bloodstream, valves in the blood vessels of the penis allow more blood to flow into the erectile portions. In a dysfunctional system, either the proper chemicals are not produced, or the blood vessels in the penis do not respond properly. The ED drugs cause elevated levels of the nitrogen oxides; but it is not necessarily limited to the penis. This is where the side effects of visual disturbances, elevated blood pressure, and others originate. So guys, if your erections are already OK, don't play with these drugs. It isn't a "cock-ring-in-a-pill." The possibility of being able to go for a second round without waiting is just not worth the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

And the advice not to buy over the internet cannot be stressed enough. You just don't know what you are getting, and it is also not worth the risk. If you are just hell-bent on getting Viagra or Cialis or similar drugs, go to your doctor and get a prescription.

Sanchez, I'm glad you found something that works for you. And again, thanks!

A friend of mine took it one time and hated it. He said it worked but really fucked him up for a while. His heart was racing, face was extremely flushed and his BP went sky high. His wife thought she was going to have to take him to the ER to get him straightened out.

Thats more or less correct. Just because you take it, doesnt mean you have an magic hardon. You still have to be stimulated, either visually, or manually, or whatever....

But for me, the first time i took it - it required little to NO stimulation, for me to get hard. This was essentially the test. I took my pants off, sat on the couch, and just went through my rolodex of favorite fantasies - and got ROCK HARD.

It doesnt make you any bigger, or a better lover, or love your partner more, or more attentive to a womans needs, or forelplay, etc... It just makes your cock hard. Thats it. It wont save your sex life - if your a bad lover to begin with -

but, it will let you keep your hardon for extra innings. Which is precisely why i tried it out. I dont know if the side effects are worth that or not though.

Thanks for the detailed responses Dirty Sanchez. Excellent posts! Does anyone else have any experiences with your doctor that you want to share? I mean, i know your supposed to trust your doc with anything and "they've seen this a million times" blah blah blah. But still its not easy to just go in and sit yourself on the exam table without knowing what to expect. I expected that your doctor would have to examine your penis and he'd have to see you try to get hard before he could make his diagnosis. Does anyone else have any experiences they want to share??? Thanks

I think I know what your looking for - Kinky story of how your doctor stroked you off.
See the story section for this....

Here's for the Legit answer=

I simply told my doctor, if I am not generally depressed, I can gain an erection. But based on my state, and being gay, I needed a rock hard erection, that I couldn't obtain without it.
He didn't make me gain an erection, just nodded and said, "Well based on the meds that you are on anyway, I can understand why its difficult" Here's a script for 11 pills.

Yes... 11 pills costs upwards of around $120+ Insurance generally only covers for One script per year. My copay was $50.
I ONLY use Levitra when I know that Im going to be busy with a partner. I only take a half a pill. Half a pill lasts an easy 4 hours, with good erection capability. And im no small guy at 6'1 and 230lbs...
Your Doc will probably prescribe like 25mg... Split the pill in half and see how your body reacts.
Less is better when trying this type of a drug. (My opinion only)

But...again, I would steer clear of Viagra. Choose something with less side effects.

And I agree with what others have said - get it from your Doctor. Stay WAY AWAY from internet sex enhancing pill sales. That's just dangerous.
Lastly - it's not an instant erection pill. You have to be stimulated mentally or physically.

One of my best friends (former boyfriend) is an RN. I told him that I sometimes have problems staying as hard as one my size needs to stay in order to fuck effectively. He said that guys "with your dick size" sometimes need some help and encouraged me to see about getting Viagra or something.

So, during my annual physical this past summer, I asked the doctor what he knew about Viagra. He told me that it was a great new drug and just offered to write me a prescription. He has been my doctor for over 10 years, so I wasn't a stranger to him.

Since he seemed so cool about it, I asked him about risks. He said (and I am not kidding) that many over-the-counter cold remedies are more dangerous than ED drugs. Then he went into yada yada yada about how they work. Flattered that he saw me as someone who would understand such things, I listened and nodded attentively.

Then I asked about Levitra and Cialis. He explained that Cialis had the longest period of efficacy and that these two might have fewer side effects than the original (Viagra). He ended up giving me a couple of sample boxes of each! He also said that there is no indication that they cause dependency or addiction.

So, I tried them. Viagra gave me nasal congestion and a really hard erection; Levitra gave me a really hard erection with no side effects, but only lasted a few hours; and Cialis (the WINNER) gave me a really hard erection with no side effects AND lasted for about 3 days. It only kicks in when you're sexually aroused, fortunately. I took my Cialis prescription to the pharmacy and was told that my insurance would only pay for 8 pills a month for a copay of $55. Cialis is the best value because it lasts the longest.

A buddy of mine got some generic Cialis - Tadalafil (?) - from a site on the Internet. It's made in India and distributed in SE Asia. There's something with India and generic drugs, not being a part of some patent-honoring treaty. So, anyway, the stuff is out there for less than the cost of the name brand drug, if you care to go that route.

I myself have taken Cialis with minimual side affects. And the affect it had on my cock was amazing. I was so rock hard and full, it felt like a new dick in my hands. And my gf loves it cause she can ride me for hours without me getting soft or getting off. I can maintain a rock hard erection for 3 to 4 hours before getting off. It is awsome! It makes me feel like I am 16 yrs old again. And it does last up to 3 to 4 days too and ready to go at a moments notice. But what is scary now is the new warning of loss of sight by taking these ED medications. See you always heard that you would go blind doing that...lol. Or grow hair on the palms of your hands......

so what's really better? Cialis or Viagra? I can split a 100 mg Viagra into 3 chunks...each lasts a day or better. I hear Cialis lasts longer but the pills are much smaller (20mg?) Can you split them? whats the best dosage?? Just looking for the best hardon for the money:)
