How about a "For Sale" section, where members can post items for sale.
Limit it to actual Items not spoof or spam.

For security, what about Limiting non board members from viewing profile pics and pics in threads?

For the Chat - does the software allow for voice features?
(Its getting drab to have to go to yahoo all the time)

Categorize it out with Breads/Pastries/Dinners/lunches/etc etc..

There were some really good recipes we had before...just not categorized...so you had to hunt FOREVER

Thank you for introducing yourself; you seem a calm and level headed sort. I hope your ride here is clear sailing. And kudos to Mark for bringing this forum out of the dark ages (I remember EZboards...).

You probably should start a suggestions thread, as this one will soon get overloaded. For my 2 cents, I like the idea of birthdates in profiles, but not required pictures - I don't want someone I'm in a difficult situation with to look at me and say, "Hey, I know you - aren't you Ceg on LPSG?" I also probably wouldn't use a dating service here - I'd prefer to be chosen for my wit and baby blues and let my dick be the surprise in the Cracker Jack box. I'm also not big on recipe exchanges or buying/selling items.

The issue of minors is going to have to be addressed, which ties into the ages in profiles and pictures. There is a lot of information here that would have been very useful to me when I was a minor (that was long before the internet). However, there are a lot of raunchy posts I don't think minors should read (I've probably written a few of them myself). I don't have an answer for it.

It is so good to be reassured of the continuence of lpsg. I was so afraid that after five years my favorite site would turn into something I would not want to visit. Your ideas sound like they have promise. I like the idea of moderators. One of the reasons I am not here everyday is the frustration I have had with chat, and the bickering that often happened in the threads. And sometimes I was shy to put in my two cents because it seemed that when I did the thread ended. I felt like I often hindered conversation instead of promoting it.
In the years I have been a member many things have happened and most of them positive. I have been blessed personally by many of the members. I enjoy the friendship of many members often in the chat room and since into other areas.
It is so good to get to know you and know that lpsg has a positive future. Thanks and be blessed. mal.

I fail to understand the benefit of mandatory birth dates and pics. How can you verify that either are for real? Same with stating sex or sexual orientation.
As for minors?
On a forum thread, someone asked how many members were teens. I was amazed by the large number of responses.
I think that the benefits of the forum discussions far out weigh any possible harm. These kids want and need answers and reassurance.

Please dont bother expanding the current Niche. LPSG is a Lage Penis Support Goups - and thats what it should stay as.

Hrmm, though are we able to get size restrictions on the size of the Avatars - some are lager than the post itself. And maybe a custom skin so we dont look like every other vbulletin community out there.

This is all in the works. First I will redesign the look and feel of the forum, then for added features.

I do not see any reason to hide the raunchy posts from anyone who's actually got a big dick and is dealing with it. The standards of "society" are fucked up - why not let the kid decide for himself and learn to deal with things? How old is the youngest here, anyway? If 8 year olds were coming here, I'd agree with you. They are "true" minors. Kids who have reached puberty, or even just about to, and are dealing with the issues, should have the right to check out whatever they want to. I say, let them grow up at their own pace.
