You know, I am a huge opera fan as well; matter of fact, I sing some opera (not that great though). It is rare to find a guy who wants to participate in the arts, particularly opera, unless is being forced to go with a mate, spouse, etc. I think it would be really great to go and just hang out.

Great&#33; I&#39;ve sung the roles of Papageno (The Magic Flute), Morales (Carmen), Valentin (Faust), Renato (Un ballo en maschera). Unfortunately, I really don&#39;t have the voice for the ultimate baritone roles: Figaro and Escamillo. I hope to sing again on the opera stage someday. That would be hella cool. I don&#39;t even know the names to the opera&#39;s that i&#39;ve heard and enjoyed myself. I need to take a class on it at some point.

I never thought I liked opera much until i saw one live.
I had always sung in and enjoyed musical theater, and thought that was cool.
Then, my aunt gave me a subscription to NYCOpera for two years,
and I also saw things at the Met when I could afford it.

It was an acquired taste, but now it is something that i crave.
Like DMW, i long for the baritone roles i can never sing...
I&#39;m just another tenor.

I had no idea that you gentlemen sung as well. Personally, I just like to hear the male voice; I love tenors, baritones and bass singers.

I have a three octative range; I can sing some tenor and up to first soprano, although I am not a strong soprano. I am a very strong alto that can easily stretch to those other notes.

Wow, I am impressed&#33;&#33;&#33; Looks like I might have some dates for the opera after all. I am all excited&#33;

Seeing that I&#39;m in Dallas (where it&#39;s 27 degrees, sleeting and snowing at the moment) and Herble and yourself are waaayyy up there in PA I suspect he doesn&#39;t have much to worry about from lil ole me.
