No you haven't had an epiphany. What he is telling you is NO. That's all...NO. His reasons or your cleverly convoluted underlying causes are immaterial. Please for your own sake just accept it.
I believe you misunderstand the purpose of that post, and that's okay. Thank you for your thoughts, as I'm sure your intention was sincere, despite it functioning quite negatively and offering little substance.
