That would be awesome!
Thank, BR!

As you may or may not know Australia has a total ban on the importation and exportation of reptiles.
We aren't allowed to own exotic/ non indigenous reptiles at all and you can face a $30 000 to $80 000 fine, jail time and the animal will be confiscated and destroyed.
The only exception to this are several types of Indonesian Green Tree Pythons that were already in the country and in private keeper's collections before the ban was put in place.

I'm sure I can seceretly send you some Can Toads if you'd like:tongue:. Although actually that's not funny...It's a serious problem:frown1:...I would assume its the primary reason for the ban existing (?)

I've just started LPSG's first ever reptile keepers group.

It's just a chill place to discuss our cold blooded friends.
Talk about husbandry, feeding issues, enclosures or the newest morph.
Feel free to share pictures of your collection.

So if you own or love reptiles give us a shout out.

Cheers,
~Dragon.

can you explain what you mean by the newest morph?

Hey there, pls send me an invite to your group! Such a great idea, and I'm sure you know, being a reptile owner yourself, that there is a special bond that connects us all around the world. Would love to be a part of this group and continue to expand my knowledge and love for our cold-blooded children! Thanks for the consideration!

Ooh, maybe you folk can help me!

I got home tonight and noticed a dead gecko on my kitchen floor. Not sure how it died, but it's completely dried out - it might have been squashed in one of the cupboard doors, and the heat & ants finished off the rest.

The weird bit is, there's another (living) gecko sitting on the floor about 40cm away from the dead one, and it hasn't moved in nearly 2 hours, even when I tap on the floor or blow at it.

So... What's my question? No idea. Do geckos pair-bond? Do they feel grief? Is the living one just stuck to the floor?

I used to keep a couple of Water dragons and Bearded Dragons and Penny Turtles..(I loved the creek) ..Dad's uncle had Carpet pythons....Anyway, I constructed an artificial creek running down the side of my mum and dad's house. Use to feed them moths and crickets and some fresh meat now and then...Then, you you become an older teenager and women become more of the focus.....Yes, some of them can be cold blooded too. :) Lucky I had the training :)

They are very territorial, the one that is still there may sense a rival, or it's mate. You may see at times geckos with no tail...They are pretty vicious little buggas and will attack each other if they encroach on anothers territory. Dark brown (from memory) is male, lighter to milky white is female.

I watch wildlife tooooo much. I have to get another life :) :)

PS You may also notice that if you see pooop around your home, if it starts with a small segment of white it be a lizard ( Gecko).
