Bitches are going bitch and hater's going to hate but please don't let them rain on your parade

At the end of the day this is your site, you own this shit, if they people don't like the changes your implementing for well-being of every user then, tell them to piss off and go fuck themselves off to another site

To be fair i feel like this site belongs to the community. I'm just trying to put things in place that you want :)

Pretty disappointed about this, one of the reasons I preferred this site over others is the fact that everything was together and you didn’t have to go back and forth through different topics. It’s also very muddy water as someone might class a person as a celebrity but someone else might not. I see this move as causing more arguments on here in future than solving them.

I wish a poll or something had been done beforehand to get the general consensus of what users really want.

Like how is Cameron Dallas not classified as a celebrity? Or Dustin McNeer as he was on ANTM and other TV shows?

See there in lies the problem trying to decide who is a celebrity or a model or a Instagram or a YouTuber,

There's soo crossovers between them, it's way waay too much effort to decide individually which category each individual fits into :/

THIS. How are they gonna decide who’s a celebrity and who’s a model/influencer? I’ve seen so many guys off-topic this way. I wish things stayed the same because I really really like this site and how free it was to just scroll through one forum, if I didn’t liked a name or didn’t thought he was a “celebrity” I would just simply scroll past through him till I found one I liked.

Before I made this change I put up a poll and it was 90% YES separate instagram/onlyfans performers out of models/celebs.

Now I'm seeing a lot of complaints and attacking what I'm doing when all I was doing was trying to please you guys. :emoji_bow:

I got one never saw this poll, if I had I would have totally voted against the separation

I remember when the biggest complaint about the celebrity forum was people posting threads about porn stars, LOL.

I think the problem is trying to classify what celebrity is vs model vs influencer. There are some that fall into all three categories. Perhaps the classification should be what they are most known for. If the individual is primarily known for IG, OF, Youtube, or whatever other social media outlets people are using to post now, then they need to go into that forum.

I knew this would cause nothing but fights, especially since people can't even post in the correct forum for things that are not as ambiguous as celebrity. There seems to be just as many posts/hour in the forum as there was before splitting them.

I wish I could suggest a better answer, but when dealing with a hotbed topic, there never is one.

@Mr. LPSG, you are doing a great job. Don't let a few bad grapes spoil the wine.

Agreed. No poll was taken it was just "Hey guys I'm the new owner, here's a fuckload of changes BUT IT''S WHAT YOU GUYS ASKED ME FOR!" ...um no we didn't. I liked that this place was more relaxed than Famousmales but seems it's going the same way. :(

Even with the poll results, I think this is a case of ppl saying they want a thing until they have it, then realize they don't.

Since there seems to be no real rhyme or reason behind the division (many, many influencers are still in the celebs forum), I'm pretty sure I've been missing updates to threads that I used to frequent or would have otherwise been interested in. And that can't be good for the board thriving.

Thank you for this!

As for parsing out who belongs in what thread, I don't think it's that hard, to be honest. I think most people are going by "level of fame" - Pewdiepie might be more well-known than Beau Mirchoff. However, it seems much easier when you look at it from the angle of HOW we know them. Will Smith has a youtube channel, but that's not what anyone knows him from. Shane Dawson might have technically been in a movie or two, but is clearly a social media influencer. Someone like Troye Sivan could potentially be in both spots, (though I would honestly just put him in celeb at this point), but I think looking at HOW they're known is the key.

Anyway, thank you again! It's hard to keep up with actual men I might know about when sorting through pages of OF content.

It's so easy to differ. I don't understand why any problems should arise.

The celebrities we do mean here are those who are all known for their art, actors, performers, singers, comedians, TV stars, fashion models, underwear models etc. THOSE C ELEBRITIES ARE KNOWN BY ALL MEDIA (cinema, TV, newspapers, magazines, books etc.) and they are NOT limited to internet recognition only.

The other option refers to INTERNET PERSONALITIES who can get very famous, no doubt about, but they are NOT in those media mentioned above, just famous on their channels, instagram, youtube, facebook, twitter etc.
Internet personalities don't belong to the celebrity thread, they got their own forum.

I am so grateful that Mr. LPSG made the reorganisation!

There was a point in time where "celebrity" wasn't a title granted to a good amount of people it would be today decades ago. Just the same with everything else, terms amd meanings change. Either way this goes the definition will always differentiate person to person.

If it upsets you this much that things have changed, maybe check more than the threads you have bookmarked in the future so you don't miss the next potential poll.

I once again want to suggest having a Celebrity section and a Model and Influencer section. It is much easier to make the distinctions in those categories. Don't have to try and decide if someone is a legit model or just an instagram poster.

@Mr. LPSG I just want to clarify with you, trading is not allowed on LPSG correct? Cuz we’ve ALWAYS been told not to trade but some ppl are saying they’ve been told that it’s no longer a rule? I don’t think it’s right to trade peoples nudes like Yu-Gi-Oh cards
It was never a rule to begin with. Selling was against the rules, not trading.
