They're from the, "Easy Care" collection.

They're not that special, but I figured my underwear collectors out there would like too know. Personally, I like the waistband better than the ones on the basic Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs.

As I learned, they're not in all the Wal-Marts nor online.

That is all, Lol!

I see nothing unique about them. Why did you buy them?

I kind of have an underwear fetish? Or I'm a collector? Not sure, but for whatever reason it's my thing. Not Calvins or anything fancy, just basic (Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, ect.) underwear. (The "FTL" waistband boxer briefs being my favorite.)

I like Fruit of the Loom, but their current waistband (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51DigDOpcAL.jpg) looks very cheap to me compared to their last one (http://www3.images.coolspotters.com/photos/165622/fruit-of-the-loom-boxer-briefs-profile.jpg)

I'm sure it's a change most people wouldn't notice, but it matters to me. It's all in the details, Lol! Anyway, the waistband on these are different and I personally think they look better, so I bought them. That's basically it.

I guess I'm a little weird.

You will find the new fruit of the loom boxerbriefs at JCPenny ...not sure but I think the sizes are only Small--med--large for now

I wear a small/medium, so that won't be a problem for me.

And I don't remember when they had a red, white, and blue waistband?

Seams have been changed on size S (Elasticity last a little longer for me.) it's very comfortable compared to the old version.

The pair that you have looks better than the ones I saw in the store that I posted the picture of. We don't have that style yet. They don't look as cheap.

Lol, might post a picture this weekend if the mood hits me ;)

I havn't warn Fruit of the Looms since I was a kind and they had "Fruit of the Loom" on them with a gold band I think? I'd have to look for a picture, this would be the early 90's. Then My mom bought me only Hanes, so I missed out on the "FTL" waistband until recently.

When I started buying my own underwear maybe 5 or so years ago, I started wearing Fruit of the Loom (boxer briefs), and that's basically all I wear now. They fit better on me. I own maybe 7 pairs of the "FTL" pairs. I found some new in the pack at a Big Lots, and then in a "Value Village" store, and I bought some on eBay. They're my favorite!

I had the ones with the blue and gold striped waistband as well. It's been so long ago that I don't remember if the name "Fruit of the Loom" was spelled out on it or not. Probably, but I wasn't that into underwear at that age. My friend in junior high wore Hanes. Back then, Hanes was considered more upscale than FTL. In the early '90s, FTL surpassed Hanes for quality and fit (In my opinion). FTL is my favorite brand today.

I'll do some scouting around at JC Penney etc. and see what's new in the underwear aisles.

I don't like the separate waistband either, digs in and can pinch. I prefer the 'all in one' style.
