I don't bother with resolutions. No use lying to myself...

I don't make New Year's resolutions. If something needs to be taken care of, I'll do so when it's necessary.

Is there really any point in New Year's Resolutions?

According to the Guardian (a leading UK newspaper) a quarter of new year's resolutions are broken within a week, at approximately half are broken by the summer.

Personally, I hardly believe anyone really keeps them... do they?

To get my eating habits back in order (I've kind of fallen off the wagon the past few months )

To stop procrastinating and get my internet up so I can stop doing this on my phone and get a gallery going.

To go visit my best friend up In Indiana. I miss him and we both keep talking about it but we don't follow through. : (

I don't think many people keep their New Year's resolutions, myself included. :biggrin1: I always say I'm going to exercise more, and I really do try to, but I'm a social exerciser, and most of the people I know are in much better shape than I am and do group activities that are above my fitness level.

As for the new job, I think I have one, at least part time! The tax preparer one... I might do some other stuff too while I look for an IT job. It'll stretch out my unemployment benefits, at least.

Since I have spent the last year in college studying law, management, h&s, etc. I have passed my exams. So my resolution is to lose 2 stone and lose 2 inches from my waist that I had put on the weight thanks to all that late night studying and comfort eating.

I don't know if i'll keep it, but I want to be able to be more open with my feelings. I hate being vulnerable and I always like being in control of things, but I'm finding that to be a big set back. I'm going to try and make an effort to just say what's on my mind more freely and accept that I'm not always going to be the strong one.
