New York City - eve of 9-11 Aug

Will be in NYC for my first time on business.

Lookng forward to it too.

Can anyone recommend any good, safe, possibly decadent, evening activities?

Never been to NY before, but I got some information about it. The Empire State Building is also open in the evening if you want to see that.
Buy a book about it and look a bit. There are a lot of areas there that you must see!

Depends... what you like and where you are staying and how far you are willing to travel for fun. 9/11 is a somewhat somber day in NY. There are fun bars and in Chelsea, the Village and Hell's Kitchen. There are great places to eat all over town. For decadence... well there is the East Side Club, the Westside club and there is always New York Jacks. Best advice would be to buy a copy of Time Out NY!
