    did anyone watch it tonight? it's such an interesting show! fucking amazing what our society comes up with!
    things i remember pretty well from it:
    harvesting energy from the pressure from people walking over these box-type things in high-trafficing areas, ultimately going to be used to power street lights and signs
    the slingshot, a machine that can turn anything that looks wet into purified drinking water, and it only uses half of the energy a hair dryer uses
    fully submergable car the has its own air compression system and face masks
    urban farms that can feed 50,000 each a year
    using the suns power to control hurricanes

    im just so fucking amazed! haha

    Hey, I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer here, but those are all great, big ideas....

    What it will ultimately come down to is money for all those things to happen.

    Is there profit involved?

    If there is too much hassle and not enough profit, those ideas will never come to fruition.

    And of course, to throw a monkey wrench into the works is what if the government intervenes or subsidizes it?

    actually theres millions involved for each. and the water one is already made. the farm is just being tested, scuba car already made, other are being experimented on.
