I'd just like to brag that I was able to get Evander Kane's autograph tonight lol.
I went to the rock to see the Devils play them. I was hoping to get Devils' autographs, but I found the Jets exiting the stadium and picked up Kane and Paul Postma's signatures on my ticket.

Kane is on my fantasy team...He's gonna be a hell of a player the next decade or so. Devils crushed the Jets tonight, congrats

I'd rather see a new team come to Hartford than Quebec, since those are the rumors swirling around..after witnessing "Nordique Nation", I'm very against a team returning to Quebec.
At least the CT Whale are around, despite being a Rangers affiliate.

How about the Kansas City Islanders!

Fun fact: I used to make the ice and install the dasher boards and glass for the Albany River Rats, then the Devils AHL affiliate

If Quebec City does get a team they better make sure they hire a bilingual coach!

No way!
The River Rats used to be my favorite AHL team! I was devastated when they moved and became the Checkers.

Also, I'd love to see a team back in KC (so long as it isn't the Devils moving there), or any place that hasn't yet had a franchise. I really enjoy seeing brand new teams, instead of franchises returning to places that already had one...
Although on of my ideas for a Winter Classic WOULD be Colorado v. New Jersey, with NJ wearing Rockies sweaters.

Hockey fans, vote for your favorite NHL team. It's that simple... Hockey-related commentary welcomed, as well.

For years I was a Hartford Whalers fan (click the link in my signature). When they changed to the Carolina Hurricanes I lost interest in them and now look towards the Rangers, Bruins and Penguins.

Flyers come up against the Penguins tonight, tomorrow the Rangers face the Senators and the Bruins deal with the Capitals Looking forward to it.

GO BRUINS

(and bring back the Whalers!)

Fortunately --- or unfortunately, uconn is likely going to have a hockey east program in 2 years. I don't know how that bodes for NHL hockey.

There better be a suspension laid down on that head slam on zetts. There is no excuse for that.

Bruins and Rangers are each tied at 1 against Caps and Senators respectively, Penguins better get their act together today against the Flyers as they are down 2-0.:frown1:

I don't mind if either team really wins this year. On one hand, Brodeur would absolutely deserve the Cup (he's almost like the Tim Duncan of hockey right now). On the other hand, I love Rob Scuderi and would thoroughly enjoy seeing him win another as well. I think my dislike for Kovalchuk has me rooting for the Kings.

I'm still in awe my Devils made it.
I'm hoping for the best in this Final, but if there's any team I wouldn't mind losing to, it's the LA Kings.
They're a top-notch organization who hasn't won a cup in their entire history. Put those two factors together and you've got a team I wouldn't mind my team losing to.
