A) seeking attention is not inherently a bad thing. It’s a human need to want to be loved, seen, validated, valued, whatever, by other people. Everyone does it to some extent.
B) people who are drawn to any kind of performance art generally have a greater need for attention than most others. It’s why they stand up in front of others and perform. Again, not everyone, but many. There is nothing inherently wrong with this either.

Sure not inherently a bad trait. But let's just be honest here. It overwhelmingly manifests into a very narcissistic personality type and that isn't good.

Well, selfishness isn’t inherently wrong either. Without some level of selfishness, you’d die naked of starvation. But like selfishness, and other aspects of personality, attention seeking exists on a spectrum. Too little and you undervalue yourself. Too much and you become… well, you become Nico Tortorella.

He’s a celebrity lol
I know a few of celebrities who are happy doing what they love but would prefer to be left alone.

And on the celebrity scale, let’s put Nico where he belongs: somewhere between pawn shop employees and a woman who eats couch cushions.

Not below Sweet Brown, but not above Heidi Montag.

If you like Nico & have not seen it, I suggest watching his episode of Hollywood Medium (E TV channel). It's nice to see him in his home environment, and also gave me a laugh. The young interview kid surely orgasmed when Nico suddenly says Oh, I'm going to take off my shirt now & proceeded to do so, haha. You can find the file at filefactory dot com and search for Nico Tortorella.

There’s of course nothing wrong with a bit of thirst-trapping. But when you’re supposed to be a “legit actor” yet you’ve made everything about your identities, sexuality, thirst-trapping, attention seeking- it does feel incredibly narcissistic and cringe-y.

It also doesn’t help that the people who still mostly pay attention to Nico and who are the primary target for their thirst-trapping are queer males who are unabashedly into guys. Yet, Nico spent years shitting on the “gay” identity, years using queers for photo ops and interview opportunities, years using “queerness” for attention while also still coming off really insecure and gay-panic-y- it does add another layer of cringe and coming off leech-like.

As I’ve said many times on this forum, there are a lot of guys who have a difficult time dealing with their dimensions, fluidity, traumas, mental health struggles, drug dependence, insecurities, trying to understand the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, relationship, commitment spectrum. But most of those guys don’t also constantly seek gay attention by thirst trapping and don’t constantly use “queerness” for publicity at the same time. So, that does especially make Nico come off narcissistic and potentially toxic.

sad to see nobody here respects Nico's pronouns... anyways they're so hot

I’ve personally tried to adhere to Nico’s pronouns throughout my posts. I may find some of the things they’ve said and done (and never apologized for) to be problematic, and I may find some of their constant antics and attention/validation seeking grating. But I do try to respect self-identity.
