I think he and his wife like to think of themselves as being so open and uninhibited that it scares people. It's delusional vanity but they seem to enable it in each other.
I'd like to tell them, "No one's judging you for being polyamorous or sexually fluid. People are judging you because you are acting like that aging twink in the bar, that's obviously currently on a shit ton of drugs, and has been flailing around on the dance floor knocking people over and spilling drinks for the last four hours without sitting down once. They think they are the life of the party while everyone else just thinks the attention seeking is annoying. Everyone else in the club is just waiting to see what happens first, does a butch lesbian gets pissed and punches you, do the drugs finally take you down, or do you get kicked out of the club for trying to upstage the drag queens during the show. It doesn't matter. Everyone else in the club with clap when they get taken out. Those kinds of people don't scare us. They make us sadly embarrassed for them that they are so far gone from reality."
