By all means exclude all the non German speakers. It’s not like there are any nudes of him.
Try to consider that some of them may not speak English very well, or at all - it comes off as a bit entitled to expect them to speak/post in your native tongue vice theirs (especially if the guy this thread is supposed to be about is German). Just food for thought.....
This is an international forum tho. Way more people around the world are likely to know English than German. That’s why most international subs on Reddit, such as r/Europe, require posts to be in English. I don’t want to have to Google translate every single comment in a thread on this site, whether those comments are in German or Portuguese. I doubt Spanish, French and Japanese people want to have to use Google translate for every German comment either. They’re way more likely to know English. Maybe Chinese will be the universal language one day, but for now it’s considered to be English.
I am happy for folks to speak in German here. I don't consider it rude at all!

It’s not rude. But it does make a lot of sense to speak English on an international forum, as it’s the language almost everyone knows.
