This is a reminder of the rule in the ToS that forbids nudity in an avatar. Rob E. the owner made this a rule when he purchased the site and before the moderating team was set up.
The moderating team is now enforcing the rule. If you have a nude avatar, you will be banned the first offense. That includes a new member who just joined within the hour and it also includes beloved veteran members as well who one day decide to use a pic with nudity for an avatar.
An avatar is considered to have nudity if the nipple of the female breast, the genitals of both males and females, the area between the genitals of both genders and the asshole, and the ass crack of both males and females is visable.
Since it is an announcement, I am posting this as a sticky closed thread that will be on the board for several days and then I will unstick it.
Knowing the LPSG members , someone will start a thread about this either for or against the rule and its enforcement. There will be a thread here somewhere, I'm sure, for everyone to make any comments they wish to make concerning this matter.
I am putting this on the public board because I don't want to see someone who didn't realize how serious nudity in the avatars is considered here to be banned. There have been a several bans for nudity in avatars since the new ToS has been implemented.
I hope this announcement will reduce the number of people that receive bans. I suspect that at least some of the banned members just didn't read the ToS and read where it says nudity in the avatars will be banned first offense.
Let me explain the rationale for the rule. People log in to the lpsg in several situations. Some may log in at work during break to get into a debate in politics or in ETC. All is fine until opps! There it is! A nude pic right on the screen and on the office computer. Or at home with small children who happen to want to sit in a parent's lap when the nude avatar suddenly appears on the screen without warning.
The gallery has nudity. The difference is that we have to knowingly click on something to view it. The gallery doesn't just suddenly appear on a person's screen just because that person is logged in.
Again, I am posting this thread hoping that you the members will appreciate knowing this is a rule and this is how it is being enforced.
Carry on with your posting and gallery viewing.
